Hi There,

I want you suggestions on following:

If I have Google Tag Manager (GTM) implemented to my website, then do I need also need to add Google Analytics (GA) to the the website.

Does this create any difference?

does GTM tracks each and everything which GA tracks?

Please provide your valuable suggestions.

only use GTM code ,adding both will result in 2 pageviews instead of one. GTM helps in managing tags and can do whatever GA can, infact once you start using it, you will feel that it can do way beyond what GA can do. Hope this helps.

You can add GA to your site via coding, or you can just install Google Tag Manager, which makes it very easy to implement various tracking codes easier than always adding code for retargeting efforts.

You can add GA with the help of GTM.

With GA you can easily cover and track everything needed in one dashboard, simple and clean.

So trying to post a new thread but I am not eligible to create a thread. I am just make sure I have my tag manager implemented correctly. There is a lot of information out there, I have watched and read quite a bit on the topic. So now I am slightly confused on which option is best to use the retargeting tag.

Thanks in advance

How would you track clicks inside the drop down menu so I would know what users are choosing inside?
