If you had read it, you'd know they keep the traffic in the SERPs. Zero click searches are over 51%.

You could argue that bullshit 10+ years ago(you'd still be wrong back then), when they sent visitors to the content creators' properties. Now they plain simply steal traffic. Content we produce is shown at the SERPs.

They are not stealing anything from you without your permision!
You don't like it? No index, nofollow will help you..
And what stops you from going to GSC and deindexing your website??
If you dont like google traffic just let them know that you want to deindex your websites and enjoy bing or social media traffic

Implies is OK with less traffic. Says Google is doing us a favor. Doesn't make any sense to want less traffic from a IM'er standpoint.

It's interesting to see all these shill accounts popping up, but IMO you waste your time trying to convince them, you were already clear enough in the OP. Anyway, I'm an idiot so I will try the same:

What would you do guys if I copy+paste content from your website to mine? You would DMCA the shit out of me, rightfully. And this is exactly what google does with these featured snippets, no more, no less.

And short content =! shitty content.

Not only snippets, they're targeted snippets which contain the answer, so the visitor never lands on your site.

About the shills. They got these exact same replies for 10+ years. Several other forums too. They got the same BS "block google if you don't like them".

It's amazing why anyone would want less traffic. If you know webmasters got 50x more search engine traffic 15 years ago, why would a webmaster be pro Google today?

No way any real user would. They've got shills in forums all over the www. Can't be a real IM'er to be shilling Google at this point.
