Google seems to be playing with algorithm

Have seen some big changes to day as far as youtube positioning in google serps, where they used to have 2 thumbs showing now only 1 and also have dropped positioning of some youtube thumbs which were on page 1 down 2 or 3 pages, anyone have any thoughts on google algorithms of the last 24 hours.

So let's see, you're doing a few searches and in those specific searches you see big movement and from that you come to the conclusion that Google is playing with its algo?

same as always but have to say for one KW im targeting I saw another EMD that was at 18 before then 30 yesteday for a few minutes it went to 2 just to drop back out of top 100...mine is not anywhere in the top 100 just top 25 in yahoo and bing.
just gotta adjust to their new daily rules lol

same happends to me,I think that you need always to let 2-3 days before start examing whats happend, earlier I was reacting (analizing) such movements and spend all day, and after few days everything back to normal...

can definately say as a friend experienced the same problem google have made a major adjustment with youtube videos in google serps, and not in the favour of good postioning for videos
