Google Searches Query.

Hello All,

I have a question. Perhaps someone would like me to help on the same? Let's say I have a keyword X

For this keyword, my google searches are not showing couple of links but the same links are coming in news section of google. Even older links are coming in the news section of google.

Now my SEO guys are saying gibberish about this, but I was wondering, how come certain links come in google news section but not in regular searches.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
