Hey, Im running google search ads onn new accounts, but some accounts only spend $2-$3 a day. Campaign is approved and active. Volume for keywords is there. It just spends this on a few clicks then stops until mignight account time and does it again.

Is there a trigger on my end/ Will it go away with continious billing? Did I start with too high budget?

I dont understand why this happens sometimes. What is the issue?

Hey. This is common on new Google Ads accounts. You just need to wait - this daily limit will be automatically removed within 2-5 days.

I’m actually going to answer you properly, because nobody here will do it except BHW users farming their post count.

If there’s a message in your Google Ads interface saying you have a $1–$2 advertising spend limit, everything is fine. That limit usually disappears after 2–5 days.

If you’ve never seen that message, then know that I’m currently experiencing the same issue, and I’ve found a few answers.

According to discussions on Reddit and in the Google Ads community from people who had this problem and managed to solve it, it seems that Google has placed your account under review. A prolonged review, apparently, because some of my accounts simply never come out of it.

The only real solution would probably be to contact Google Ads support to resolve the situation. But you’ll end up dealing with GTech customer reps, basically the lowest level of support, who have no authority over the issue and can do absolutely nothing.

I’ve tested farmed accounts, aged accounts with ad spend, and the result is always the same: there’s this “eternal” limit, as I call it. And it’s not for lack of running things properly (VCCs with a BIN matching the payment profile geo, proper farming, anti-detect browsers, 4G mobile proxies, etc.) and being extremely careful with my actions.

This limit seems to have started appearing around September 2025, because I remember that even before that, on brand-new accounts, you could spend your full advertising budget without this restriction.

New account trust issue, Google throttles fresh accounts with no spend history. It will loosen up on its own after consistent billing over 2-3 weeks, don't touch the budget or it resets the learning.

It’s likely low bid or budget pacing
try increasing the bid or daily budget to improve spend.

This sometimes happens with new Google Ads accounts. The system may limit spending at first while it evaluates account trust and traffic quality. After a few days of consistent activity and billing, the spend usually increases.

Usually this happens with new accounts because they don’t have billing history. it can also happen due to low ad rank or very narrow targeting. if you use maximize conversions or other automated bidding on a new account without data, google may restrict traffic.
Try increasing max cpc and start with manual cpc. add more keywords like phrase or broad match and run ads for a few days to build history. usually after 2–7 days and successful billing, the account starts spending normally.

Yes, this usually happens with new accounts in the beginning. But as you keep running ads and the account builds history, Google will gradually increase the spending limit.

Increasing budget carefully can also help your ads enter more auctions, but don’t increase too much at once, that can trigger learning delays or sudden pauses.

you just need to increase CPC/CPA, add more kw to see.
The magic will happen
