Google Search Console indexing

Hello BHW,

I've recently started a new website for free online slots. It's based on Wordpress CMS and I've used some ready template. I've submitted the sitemap to google search console, however previously there were tons of template pages which I've removed or changed. So, now when google is indexing them, it returns errors. How can I fix that? Like is there an option to resubmit the sitemap, so google will ignore the removed/deleted pages?

Yes, you can resubmit the sitemap is Google Search Console. Make sure the website returns a proper 404 error code when reaching the page, and Google will get rid of them after a while.

You can fix this by updating your sitemap with only valid URLs and resubmitting it in Google Search Console.
