Google reveals new anti-bot Captcha, No-Captcha

Anyone hear about this?

I'm guessing this is going to make it very hard to use captcha services like decaptcher.

This morning, Google is unveiling the best answer yet. It's called No-CAPTCHA, a new approach built on a new API, and it's already been adopted by Snapchat, Wordpress and Humble Bundle, among other partners. Instead of asking users to pass a test, Google's new system pre-screens each user's behavior and filters out anyone who's easily identifiable as human. Most users will simply see a check mark — click the box and you've passed the test — while anyone marked as suspicious will be given a more elaborate test.

What technology do they refer to? Microworkers from India?

When captchas came out, they were anti-bot and they worked. Now what? They can easily be bypassed. Give it a little time. Where there is a demand, people will fill the gaps
 
any examples of this captcha anywhere yet? I'd like to know if google thinks im a human or not!
 
Sucks, but it won't be long before someone develops a workaround.
 
Although I'm not a developer, but I can guarantee the Russians are working on this. I just did a dry run on a few sites that use this technology and it is defeatable. All it takes is the right programmer/developer. All of our Russian BHW members, "получить занят!"
 
I say no more than 3 months, and there will be several software solutions available to defeat this anti-bot stuff.

It's worth noting that Google has already been running this type of thing on their ads, to get around the issue of click bombing and Adsense fraud.
 
Google has a lot of time and money to space , they also feel the need to keep making changes so that people don't get bored of seeing the same thing again and again ...

This more like a centralised thing i guess , you bypass/pass No captcha on one site and you wont see a google captcha anywher on the web as you are verified ...If it is so , it will be a lot easier to spam with No Captcha compared to recaptcha..
 
This brings a whole new level of cheap and accuracy for human based captcha solvers. Now all they need to do is leave the mouse at the box and click it. Or lazier fellas can just use a macro.

Then, a simple bot with macro-like function can just tick it rather than having to solve captchas.

But of course, after about 5 successful verification from the same IP, this pops up.

Anyone else feel like this is more easily exploitable than an old school captcha?
 
I think it is not hard for programmers to fix. Captcha types are flexible, but there is no new type of captchas. ;)
 
I think it would't be so hard for programmers to develop a new Captcha solver .
 
Maybe the whole idea is about tracking footprints and not just captcha bypass..so they can easily follow on the links built using the IP once they are blacklisted...imo
 
Does this really make it more difficult for a bot? It certainly makes it better if you are on a clean/real IP.

but for automation the bot just needs to check the box and then if a captcha pops up send it to the captcha service as normal. if no capcha pops up then just move on.

Doesnt bring anything new as far as I can see (depending on what its doing in the background with cookies & javascript of course)

Makes me wonder how many googleads i would have to click before my proxies pass the 'im not a robot'...? heh
 
Don't like this. It's gonna cost some monies to circle around this xD
 
If it defaults back to ReCaptcha many botters will just code it to get it wrong let it fail back to ReCaptcha then break it using existing methods.
 
This is perhaps good news for people who hate spending money on captchas. Just come up with ways to trick browsers into think bots as humans.
