Hi,

I created an article on my website (the whole website ranks well as well as the articles), however that specific article from time to time disappears completely from the results, and then appears for a day, and then disappears again. I don't know what could cause such a problem since it's happening to only that specific article. The article has affiliate link in it but it's a well and long written article.

Here is a screenshot from the google search console for that link:

As you can see, the dots are the times when it appears in search engine (I don't do anything for that to happen). Does anybody know what can be the cause of this? I've analysed the link on google search console and it says that it's indexing but it's not appearing in the results at all, and that's weird since now when it appears it is on Position 1.

Thank you very much.

It is usual this is because of the Google Dance or Google Honeymoon Algorithms when a new article is crawled to know the people interaction to that particular article. it will be okay soon. no worries

Thanks for the info, I was reading about that as well but the weird thing about my page is that it isn't hopping up and down with the rankings, but it actually disappears from the Search engine completely for a week, then appears for 1 day, then disappears for 2 weeks, then returns for one day and so on.

When do you think it will stop since the article is more than 2 months old?

It's likely a case of Google's algorithms testing your page's quality or relevance. Check for keyword stuffing or too many affiliate links. If the article's fine, it could just be Google's normal fluctuations.
