post a screenshot....The Semrush sensor got crazy, never seen such a bump.
Pretty pissed off with this update this morning.
I've had a look for some of my keywords and they've taken a pounding. Instead, companies that own multiple websites have posted identical listicles (with the same photos) and just a few words changed and they're sitting in the top spots.
What's the point in writing quality content when they're going to be pushing rubbish like that to the top spots?

That's interesting that the Reddit crew are kicking up hell about it too. I'm surprised that they're that stupid to exchange the links as well. That's exactly what's happening in my niche.
Sites from the same parent company writing the same content, targeting the same keyword, and having the same author, are taking the first page on Google.
More worrying is that these sites are exchanging links very very aggressively. Like they give links to each other with the same anchor text.
Saw people complaining about this on Reddit too.
It's a real concern and shows how unethical Google is and why it needs to be replaced.
I hope it won't. I've spent a lot of time writing the content myself and actually had quite a lot of emails saying thank you for the helpful content. It would be a shame to have lost it thanks to these wombles. It might not stay like that.....it might just be when their rolling out the update....

I think this algorithm update is still related to the length, relevance, and professionalism of the content.
I just expanded the thickness of the content at the end of last month to make the content deeper, more relevant, and handed over to professional writers (previously the content was written by general writers).
Since the release of the new algorithm yesterday, the rankings of many keywords of my two websites have improved significantly. Among them, there is a high-competition keyword that has just entered the 5th position on the homepage without any backlinks.
It happens like CamperReport which is from a group and if you check all the sites they are almost identical but paraphrased .... and rank very well.
