Google refresh today? Anyone notice changes within the past few hours.

Went from page 1 to oblivion. Under my keyword, believe it or not.... from page 2-3 to 9-10 there is the same domain over and over again. 350,000 searches p/m... (exact) .... page 2-10 all hogged by the same domain, simply unreal.

I'm noticing some weird stuff too this past hour. It seems like the current search is not up the date. The past week it should position 3 was updated October 1 for one of my blogs. Now when I search for the same keyword my blog moved back to position 5 and says updated September 28. If your website was not indexed 2 weeks ago then maybe this is the reason and it is showing old results. I hope...

Make sure you are NOT logged to google at all when you do that search. That sounds EXACTLY like you are.

I have seen some stuff jumping around all over the place though. One keyword continuously goes from #2 to #14 multiple times per day (for like at least a week now???).

But the same domain dominating all the results almost always means you are logged into a gmail account. Check it again.

My domain just flew up in the rankings. I am sitting at in 1-3 positions for keywords that were in 8-20 yesterday. A few keywords have gone from rank 100-150 to 10-40.

I have a five year old authority site with thousands of natural backlinks and thousands of daily visitors.

Got to love Google sometimes.
 
been doing this long enough to know how to check my rankings. but thanks for the tip.
 
saw some positive result today so what ever it is good for my network :)

Just read that google is dropping spam, lot of low quality sites.
 
Rankings up that's weird because i did lot of spam stuff lately.
 
I don't know, Google is dumb really. My site got slapped, and in replace of it is tons of sh1t 1 page emd blogs. My site had heaps of unique content, PR 4, solid back links etc. Now I am out ranked by 1 page emd blogs with no back links etc. The more google tries to fix things, the worse the results gets. Essentially no SEO is the new SEO lol. Also page quality doesn't mean anything, shit pages rank seemingly as easy as good ones. Google is quite socialist now lol.

this crap piss me off because I dont know how to start because everyday I see a post about doing it this way or that I guess I pick the perfect time to MNS or blog or whatever

Weirdly I haven't noticed much difference in ranks, I did have some n/a yesterday and they're ranking today but I think that was more to do with the rank tracker I was using than the actual ranks! As for ranks, some have decreased, some increased but nothing amazingly abnormal. One of my sites is now all n/a but it only had 2 keywords that were around 200-300 so not exactly a huge loss. Just stick with it, just because a 1 page EMD is ahead of you today, doesn't mean it'll stay that way forever
