Google's new social option within search has some thinking about G making this an opt-out feature built into search. Speculation is that Google Reader and Buzz "shares" and "likes" could become much more valuable.
That said, very few people are using these as a serious part of their social strategy at least in the U.S. Anyone know how to gain friends fast, or pickup rep on reader or Buzz?:feedback:
