Give to people what they want in term of content, then more and better links than your competitors.

Links From Quality Sites, Links From Contextual Sites, Use Quality Content, Go For More Referral Domains (Only Good Domains), Better Anchor Text Diversity !

Also Push Them With Tier Links..

More like give the Google what it wants. I'm seeing such ridiculous content length trends in Amazon affiliate niches... I doubt anyone buying a nail polish remover wants to read 8.000 word article on the history of the nail polish industry.

Exactly what I say, if the visitors want 300 words intro and 10 reviews, give them that.

Provide valuable content and build good links to the site.

More than 500 metrics that you can choose from. Most would say links no longer work - I'd say that spam links now no longer work, but if you have a high quality link from a reputable news site, or a high PR site, that link would definitely boost your SERP upwards no doubt.
Other than links, having an authority domain also helps -- you can in fact cheat on this by getting an expired domain that already has authority. Doesn't come cheap though as it will cost money to purchase this.

Backlink Factors. 87. Linking Domain Age: Backlinks from aged domains may be more powerful than new domains. 88. # of Linking Root Domains: The number of referring domains is one of the most important ranking factors in Google's algorithm, as you can see from this industry study of 1 million Google Search results.

Well apart from choosing your niche (make sure it's profitable or related to what you enjoy), targeting a low to mid niche would be good.
Nowadays, G places utmost importance on website presence and whether your site is a brand for the niche that you are targeting.
A brand will have all the necessary key indicators like active social media, good engagement and participation on your website, and of course, hq backlinks for off-page factors.

If you have problem with keywords then go for long tail keywords...

According to KingKane, there is no such thing as quick ranking method. SEO take a way more time than you thinks.
Just keep building links to see some change.

The quickest way for me to analyze the competitiveness of a keyword is by looking at the title and description of a web page that appears when you search something in Google. If by the 10th term on the first page, the title doesn't match or resemble the search term, I'd say it's a low competition keyword. And building backlinks is often optional if you're competing for low-competition keywords as long as your content is great.

Let's say your business is organizing swinger parties for a fee because it's sex and sex pays well, and your keyword is "join swinger party" or "swinger party events", and you see that by the 8th term, there's a news article that talks about swinger parties, and the 9th until the 30th term is porn combined with "what to expect at swinger parties" type articles, you know that you can write an article called "How to Join a Swinger's Party" or "Best Swinger Party Events" and expect it to rank on the first page easy without backlinks if your content is right.
