Ugh. Google just bought Meebo.

Google has enough of our personal information. Now, they will have so much more across all messenger platforms, including logins, contacts, emails, conversations, etc.

Looks like Google wants to own everything these days.

Google pretty much HAS owned everything for the past 10 years, they're just trying to keep it that way.

I never got the Google criticism. "Oh no now they'll own more servers that contain even more of our private details that we chose to disclose and that they themselves also do not disclose."

Go ahead and explain to me in detail as to why this is a bad thing.

PPL usually don't like if anyone knows anything about them without their straight permission (account info doesn't fall in straight permission). That's animal instincts.

Exactly. We have the right to privacy.

It wouldn't be a huge issue, if they didn't store everything forever and sell it to the highest bidder.

I always use meebo so it would be good for me they will improve the apps more hopefully. I don't worry about the privacy since they already know abt me more thn i do ............. :cow04::cow04:
