Google Play Ranking !!

@vinku no extra money for presents this xmas

Luckily my main project / dev account didn't hit by this madness but I see newer apps (from May ) having difficulties to rank better even if I do some marketing tactics .

As highest paying months in this industry , we're all in losing Google.

I have no problem in ranking apps after May but I was really happy this morning when got such good postitions on competetive keywords xD
personaly... I was counting on thousands of downloads / day and USA wake up ;) but seems google shit on my head xD
 
Happiness with GP rankings become short term thing xD haha
I'll PM you when I get finally permission here , have some ides on my mind.

BTW I'm really curios how AI mechanism & algorithm on GP calculate and make pattern "stop ranking".. Its very clear that "collecting data" cause this few months ago . Some AI engineer need here :D
 
Same, i can find it without underscore now, but that's it. It disappeared from other keywords.

My September app - not showing, yesterday showing
My October app - showing, but I made good ASO and promotion, but
yesterday very hard keywords < top 5 and <top 10
today ... come back to top 40 ;/

So even showing apps are affected or my ASO and promo was good enough to overwhelm the bug but not enough to get into top 10 on keywords
 
Ok, so I got also my apps invisible from the search until yesterday.
What happen : I have 2 apps that I submited in november
Yesterday, one of the app got more than 100 download a day, so I still see this app in the search result now.
But the other app, which had no download yesterday disappear.
So looks like that the algorythmcheck also how many time the app is downloaded to be in the top results.
It doesn't look like a bug, but more a new algorythm...

so funny, that's why voodoo games with 500k downloads deindexed xD - new algorithm xD

Sothat means new apps will never get indexed because they don't get installs because not indexed, so no index no installs no indes no installs

I think they made this future as they cannot handle all apps, for today they have to many apps in market and they are happy for results, but more and more people come to this business. So from my opinion, they add shadow bans to all new apps until they hit some number of downloads. Any developer uploads new app, get 0 installs and what he do? Quits, or orders ads from adsense. Google is just a big corporation that supports monopoly and only cares about profits. It whose same with seo, now it is same with aso, as all experienced in aso developers is cancer for google. I made 1,5 million downloads with 0 investments.

Yes all they want to is developers to pay morr n more now, even our 3 Apps with 4M+ installs gone because of ban without actual reason

For me you are only speculating. We have seen yesterday it's bug, not new algorithm and all what we need is to wait, write on issue tracker/google play support page/reddit

In my opinion, soon it will be resolved because Google have realized something is wrong, maybe they fixed it yesterday but problem is more serious and rollback to fix it.
Ads from adwords not helping in current situation. So Google have to fix it or they will start loosing even companies like voodoo.

I'm not saying that my thought is 100% real. The thing is that there is 0 legit information and this all your info is just from some random person on internet. The thing is that this thing persist 2-3 months, just read this post and you will gonna find that there is few people that have this problem 2 months.

And another thing, by your opinion in google play works only morons, that really don`t understand what they do, as it is really lame when you fix something and after one day you brake it again. They know everything, they track every person who are using few developers accounts and close them in week or more. Simple google play support agent gets 10k in month, so think how much money gets bigger technician, or something. People need to understand that google is multi million corporation that don`t give shit about anybody, if they can lose companies like woodoo and make more tons of money from small developers, they will gonna do this and this all thing only brings money to google, as people are in panic and they burn money on ads in google adsense.

And funniest thing that all this thing started to persist before new years, on time when all business owners makes most of money from their business. Maybe they made some temporary changes only to make more money.

Make it live again in all countries
 
Performed in Spain some searches and there are duplicate apps...

Now become serious ... It's definitely algorithmic bug , a crazy one. Now I see decrease in rankings with competitive keywords , even with older apps . :suspicious:
In last 48h I saw wave in installs from GP and then big drop . Very odd drop ..

They should stop drinking @ work.
 
i approve , the last 2 days my impressions and installs saw a big drop on my older apps
 
This "duplicated apps" is a known bug since many years.
I don't think it's related

My older apps are not affected (older than 5yo with a stable ~15K/day)
