Google Places Pin Problem

Hello Guys,

I am having some trouble with Google Places, it seems that it takes ages for the letter from Google to arrive with the Pin number to activate your business, like 3-7 weeks is there any way to get around this Pin Activation to make it faster?

Few months a go i manage to upload bulk list , more then 10 locations. No verification required

Hey man,

you got me intrigued, can you explain a little, Do you mean the new option Google Places Manage? That lets you upload a bulk list with 2 or more locations? What you mean if you upload 10 locations or more you do not need verification required? what is the minimum for that?

Please confirm it to me mate, it is driving me crazy

If the business is already listed on alot of business directories google will autocreate a places listing,if you claim this(it will have the business tel number and uses it for verification) it's 99% phone verification.If the number is different to the places listing google created it is 100% postal.

Alot of older businesses already have a google places listing but don't know it.

Hey mate,

Thanks for answering, about what you are saying I already know that, what I am looking is for new business (business that are not listed on Google Places), that is why I want to know if that is what zolcsi68 means using the new Google Places Manage new option when you add bulk business

I think if you upload the datashet with 10 location you don't need verification. After you can delete the 9 locations if you want.

this is something I saw on one of the training videos lurking around here, I've been trying to get the postcard verification for months and I keep asking for one and never get it, of course I had to change the phone number of the business and now my listing is gone.
