Ok,we all know about google penalty and stuff, but is there a penalty on the other big search engines?I mean for example,is there anyone experienced a Bing penalty?:pOr when we hit by google that also affects the other engines ranks too?How this system works?

I have not heard of Bing/Yahoo Penalty but I am sure it has nothing to do with Google Penalty. We are so obsessed with Google that we tend to ignore Bing/Yahoo Rankings.

No idea, mate. All I know is I rank very well on G and terrible on Bing. Always been that way.

They are totally seperate. Bing/Yahoo acts a lot like Google did a few years back as far as rankings go.

So lets say i dont give a sh|t about go0gle and i only want to rank for the other engines, can i black hat seo without getting a penalty at all?

but look at it this way how many people do actually use yahoo or bing versus google? Always be in good standings with google do to the fact that at this moment it is GOD! :)

I've seen sites bounce around all the time on the other search engines. But their penalties aren't as publicly announced as the Google updates are.

Seconded!

I'm not ignoring Bing/Yahoo. Easy pickings.

I think part of the reason I don't pay as much attention to Bing/Yahoo is that I have ranked high in all three search engines and Bing/Yahoo can only send 1/3 the traffic that G can send. I do think Bing's traffic is better for conversions, and media buys on Bing are less than on G from my experience.

They say that Google holds 65% of the search traffic. But I may say it is 95% for me (based on many years and many sites). So, I do never care for yahoo or bing.
