Hello,

I have problem with my website and its ranking. I created .com website 1 month ago and I am trying to rank on google.co.in for "work from home" keywords which are high competitive on google.com, but low competitive on google.co.in. With easy link building at the beginning, I reached 88th position for my main keyword and 120th position for my second keyword. Problem is that I recently (few days ago) bought high quality high PR backlinks (PR1-PR6) and after that, I gone completely out of SERPs. So, I am not sure did I get Google penalty for over-optimization or I am facing extremely strong Google Dance. I was building 20-50 backlinks daily for the last few weeks and I reached 800 backlinks now. As I mentioned above, backlinks from last 7 days are high quality high PR backlinks. I didn't get any message on Google Webmaster Tools about any penalty, and my Search Queries number are increasing every day, my site is still indexed when I write on google.co.in info:mydomain.com or site:mydomain.com.

I made some small content changes and delete some pages these days, and resubmitted sitemap and fetched all pages to crawl, but today I see just 4 submitted column, but no more indexed comlum. Does that mean that my site is out of Google's index? I will attach picture below.

So, is there any way to properly check is my site got banned/penalized or it is just Google Dance?

When you modify your content and start deleting pages, Google reshuffles your site to see where you're supposed to rank. It's just a google dance because of the amount of changes you made to your site.

What about google penalty? How can I be sure that I am not penalized?

Nothing is sure when it comes to these subjects. You have to wait 10-14 days and see how it goes. If your website is not new, the google dance shouldn't last long.

Why you are generating 20 - 25 back links a day. You don't need it. Just generate 4 - 5 back links and that will be sufficient. And it happens sometime. In next weak your rankings will appear in Google. No worry!

Hello friends,

The exact same thing is happening with me also. My site was dancing from page #2-6 for different keywords. But for last 3-4 days, it is completely disappeared from G. And the worst thing is happened when my blog (a different subdomain) also disappeared from page#1 for last 2-3 days. I am building links through GSA SER only. I am building BLs for both, my site and my blog, from last 45+ days.

I also noticed one strange thing. Like a week before, my subdomain suddenly disappeared from the search while it was on the first page of G. Then it came back on the #1 position on the first page after 2 days. Then it went to #6. And then disappeared again.

Is it extreme G dance or some kind of penalty from G.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think something is happening too. I launched my website exactly one week ago on sunday. I went for a content strategy with real hand written articles. Day one, the sunday I had about 10 people through Google. Monday I had 12. Then it hit April the 1st and my Google traffic died completely. From Thursday I went on a manual white hat backlinking campaign. I've moved in bing and even started getting an alexa rank but not a single movement in Google and my traffic has fell completely. I think April might have brought in something. I feel a little better after reading this though as I was starting to pull my hair out!

A good way to check if you have a penalty or not is by searching your meta head title in quotes, if your site does not come up, there is a good chance you have a penalty.

rank for co.in :s I don't think you will be able to make any sales or much earnings from adsense if you even rank... what are your plans with the Indian traffic ?

and you you should probably not mention the exact keyword you're going after. You might face a lot more competition if others also think of that keyword as "easy"

brother...this way I can see my site on G.

Also, my subdomain is stable on the first page #2 position for one of my secondary keyword for last 10+ days but for other main KWs, it has been disappeared from last 2-3 days. What do you think about this?
