I have one old adsense test site moving up the rankings hard, (from nowhere to top 20 for mid level keyphrase in the health niche) which is odd as the content on that site is translated content from Dutch to English, looks a bit gibberish never did anything to improve it and i have a crappy tier 2 GSA backlink strategy on it.
Lets see if the rankings will hold, the rest of my sites no more/less fluctuation as normal

Ebay was hit.. Evidently, subdomains have started to rank better. Will be checking out this thread to hear from people who have been hit. Please do post your sites if possible. It will help others to get a better idea of how Google targeted sites this time.

Got 4 websites hit by this f*cking update using GSA but not using a tiered strategy on them since I didn't knew a lot about SEO when I started to rank these website but I still didn't made any spam backlinks to these website.
From ~10-15 to 150+ & nowhere. The quality was hand made, unique and readable. Website was selfcoded with a kw density of around 2-3% per website.
But I did got no message about unnatural backlinks so I just hope this a temporary google dance...

Mixed results, some sites were hit and some were not.
Some of sites which have GSA links are still ranking, so don't think update has anything to do with GSA links as there is no way Google can tell that if link was built with GSA or by using any other software.

Exactly what I'm thinking.. Google can't magically pull out a magic wand and determine if someone is using GSA.

They can't know exactly but they can suppose that GSA made the backlinks. I think they devaluate social bookmark, network and forum since I was using them a lot and on website that I wasn't using them I didn't get any drop for now.

Ebay got hit =) I don't think they used GSA or had problem with unique content penalty or PBN links or ads above fold. Google does whatever it wants punish eveyone without looking if its spam or natural. From now on f..k quality. Spam - churn - burn - rinse - repeat.

Again an update that makes no sense and google will just don't care and continue to kill small business to get them back on adwords and adsense.

Panda! One more reason to go and get drunk.
I don't see how this update "makes no sence". None of my projects got hurt. And the only project I have that was filtered before I got it in my hands has +100 from 120 to 20. Make better SEO. If google releases guidance - everyone will do the same, and algoritm will still make a "top10" sites in beetween them.

Took a major dive in ranking, seems my page was "spammy" according to the new update pffft. pisses me off because its a legit website that took a hit. my other crappy sites are sitting pretty.

Thats what i am seeing to =) Churn burn sites stay still while good content decent link sites got hit. Still early but GOOD JOB GOOGLE.

Me too. My main site that has hundreds of pages of unique hand written content got hit. Meanwhile quite a few of my churn and burn sites moved up significantly. This is despite some pretty terribly spun content on them and "interesting" link building tactics.
This update just reaffirms that I should continue my black/grey hat ways. I am making a killing from churn and burn & cookie cutter sites, but almost nothing from my attempt at an authority "white hat" site with lots of good content.
Anyway, thanks G for boosting many of my spam sites. Looking at some of the SERP movements, I expect you just increased my income by about $150 a day
