Panda 4.0 seems to be a friendly one so far, nothing but positive movement across the board for our clients.

Should be a exciting next few days! :google2:

One thought, he says it has just been released? Do you guys think they were releasing it for the past few days or they are releasing it today?

So many changes happening right now it is hard to say. I have not really had any activity on Serpbook but I have been hearing tons of people complaining about Rankings.

I knew this update was more about Onpage Seo. I have my clients sites exactly the same baklink profile (maybe just few of them different) some of the get hit for about 5-10 spots and the others didn't. I thought it was more about keyword density on pages but i guess its more about the outgoing links and advertisement above the fold. Also thin content sites got hit too in my opinion. Anyone agree?

So I can't actually find out real info about what this one includes. There have been so many Panda updates, but since they actually named and announced this one, I want to know what they did.

Does anybody know?

Had one of my sites that had a ton of fluctuation, but now totally back to normal. I didn't update anything recently either. Strange.

If the rankings I'm seeing hold, then no I don't think it's above the fold content. Could be outgoing links, but I also find that unlikely. Keyword density may have something to do with it though, I mapped out 20 site drops across 12 niches (the only ones I'm seeing so far, they're not my sites). They all had Keyword density >2%, but they also had <1400 words on homepages and other things going on.

Also no terms and conditions/privacy policy statements on their site. That could just be coincidental though.

I suspect they started the rollout 6 days ago and he didn't make an announcement until it was affecting all or most queries.

Keyword density aint got shit to do with it. Looks like they called it "panda" but meant to say "penguin".
Or they might of rolled out Panda with Penguin refresh, who knows, but it does seem like Off-site is still a main factor.
Also see spike in "unnatural links" messages.
I see sites with lower quality and large amount of backlinks drop, even though their content top-notch.
Sites with very few backlinks but sh*tty content went up.

Hmm ok than what we got is keyword density+thin content+conditions/privacy policy statements and maybe too much anchor text for the same keywords for now.

Panda is related to on page site content and stuff right? I believe penguin is also to follow soon.

No changes on my site rankings
