As of now its not us, its google who can take us out. The momentum is rapidly shifting towards facebook. we value google only because they bring us traffic. They keep screwing up google front pages with tons of links like maps,places and other things which further lower the traffic to page 1 sites. on contrary fb is already big traffic source and there are rumors that fb also coming with their own search engine. To get momentum all they ll have to do is bribe webmasters with traffic. Imagine FB ads showing on your sites
instead of adsense. The future looks hazy with Google. They can keep boasting about excellent search results and non spam. but if they screw up webmasters pockets they will screw up their own investors. I believe Thats the reason they have been lenient with non-Tos activities by WM, when they can screw up spammer guy on next day (remember they are the biggest data mining company in the world and thats what they do)

You must all have broken legs from the level of the knee-jerk reactions I see here! Google has simply changed the method of retrieving PR from their servers, which means all 3rd party tools will have to change too. The old way was to construct a GET string like this
with the 'ch' variable being a checksum generated by running the url, in this case blackhatworld, through an algorithm. They've periodically changed this checksum generation algorithm over the years, and 3rd party tools have always had to play catch-up.

I'm really glad to see that it's now working. I was already trying to think of ideas on how to capitalize on the death of PR. lol
