Lately, I've been posting only AI-generated informational content on my site. The content is of good quality, with examples, images, it gives value to the users, but still it's AI generated. The site has gone through several updates, down and up, but in general the dynamics are positive. How much is it likely that in this Google core update my site can collapse because of the generated content?

Google released the update yesterday and it will take a while to roll out. Wait a couple of days and I guess you will be able to answer your own question.

Do you make any changes to your AI generated content or just copy-paste it?
I try to make it more human, so to speak: I avoid constructions that AI tends to use. I also try to create some examples from life and add some value.

Well if you edit the AI content, it's still better than most. It's much better than just copy-pasting it.

From what I've seen, Google seems more focused on content quality and user experience than on whether it's AI-generated. If your content genuinely provides value and users engage well with it, that should help. But with these updates, it's always a bit unpredictable.

I have also experienced AI content not ranking well in Google after the March 2024 Core Updates. From what I have observed, Google emphasises the importance of content that demonstrates Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness (E-E-A-T).

If your AI-generated content aligns with these E-E-A-T principles and effectively addresses user needs, I don’t think it will be negatively affected by the Google update. However, if the content lacks depth, originality, or fails to meet user expectations, it could experience ranking fluctuations.

Google's core updates focus on providing the best content for users, prioritizing quality, relevance, and expertise. If your AI-generated content truly offers value—meaning it’s helpful, original, and engaging—there’s a good chance your site will perform well. However, Google may still assess whether the content feels "authentic" and human-focused. To reduce risks, regularly review and improve your content, making sure it aligns with Google’s standards for quality, authority, and user experience.

If the articles are modified and good of quality then there is nothing to worry as google prioritizes good quality contents whether it's human or AI wrriten one.

You could try running your text through a plagiarism checker. These tools can sometimes spot AI-generated content. That way, you'll have a better idea of how human your writing sounds, and you won't have to worry so much about Google

As others have said, I'd wait to see the results before making any drastic changes, at the moment I'm seeing international sites ranking for local terms that didn't before, I think (hoping) they have some tweaking to do yet. Some of the SERPs I've seen won't satisfy users.

Thank you guys for your answers!
So the week has passed, what I can say is that the articles that were not ranking well have moved to the top for now, and on the contrary, the articles that were ranking well have dropped some positions. Let's see what happens next.

I'm seeing a mess, international sites showing in local results, I'll be waiting 2 weeks before actually taking any action.

Google’s not against AI content outright; it’s against low-quality, spammy AI content.

I don't think the site will collapse due to A.I. generated content. A.I. content ranks if it's useful.
