Let's hope for the best, I always have my hopes up and after the update just say f you Google, I had some boost after the last spam update a week ago, I can imagine they will be reversing that

It should be called:

The empty bank account update.

Happens every November.

I am noticing one thing very distinctively. All the spam and bot traffic that the Spam update disposed, suddenly they are coming back. Some of my sites are flooded with Chinese bot like traffic since the last the couple of hours.

Seems, It won't be Black update. Let's hope for the best.

Does anyone know if google has a special sandbox for new sites for these days (the holiday season)? I’m guessing they get a lot of spam this time of the year, and I’m trying to rank a site right before Black Friday.

I have 2 brand new ones, one is picking up well, you can check it out here, traffic stats and earnings

in spanish tho,

the other one has less backlinks but is taking longer to pick up

Use cloudflare, I haven't experienced such

130% increase after the Spam Update was over - 10 Nov.
10x decrease in overall traffic since yesterday afternoon compared to what it should be. However, can't measure it right at this moment, I need the weekend to get a better picture. But this kind of drop never happened before. It's true that yesterday and today are pretty much "dead" days for me, but it feels like something bad is about to happen. It's just weird.

Powered up Serprobot, positions are still there. Checked with VPN myself from mobile and desktop, I'm still there (minor fluctuations). Ahrefs kw movement doesn't report anything dramatic.

Last 3 months I haven't worked on backlinks, but I acquired some naturally. Pretty good ones. All we did is to redo our API and site from scratch, to increase the loading speed. We moved the frontend to React a week ago. It improved all metrics and for sure, the user experience - it's very fast now.

No crawling errors in webmaster tools, but crawling increased 2x to 40k requests/day. Now slowly decreasing - it's normal to fluctuate.

I have no explanation.

@Fashina Samson Majority of the sites do use Cloudflare. But that's the most sad and also the most amazing part. You won't believe the penetrating power of these bot like traffic's.
