Any info on google's next spam update? for the sites that have been hit, should we only wait for a core update to recover or also minor update could help? Appreciate your answers.

That is the summary of my life the period of my life I decided to buy videogame cryptocurrency.same, I bought $5000 site, now it's worth $100.
It's unlikely that so far in November and with an update in December, sites will recover out of the blue. Try to identify the issues that generated such massive drops.
Expect on December even more drops

I didn't do anything. Some recovered themselves, some have not recovered yet.

I have been hit on 27 October. I was averaging 150 daily clicks. All of sudden on 27 I have 0-10 clicks. I disavowed some backlinks. trying to post 1500+ articles with photos and video. Now working on product description trying to make some changes. In hope that google would forgive me even though I have not done anything wrong.
It is worth mentioning that yesterday I had great improvement in traffic that I have not experienced since the october 27. I hope it is the beginning of something nice about to happen and not just random spikes.

for the last 3-4 years

I stopped caring about it actually. Have run 20+ sites in the same strategy in last 1 year. Some got hit, some skyrocketed and some just remained as they are in every major update this year. At this point, i'm just diversifying the portfolio and posting articles on low competitive keywords.
