Really? I used to have 20+ Google News approved sites but they're all gone, GN disapproved them all in the span of 2 weeks in March this year. I tried making news news sites but GN no longer approves new sites easily, you need a lot of things to be done to get approved like having a real organization, real address, real business backing your site.
