hello i have a question in regard to google news approved domains pre 2019 when you search on google using site:domain.com in the news section and you see articles but not articles from your domain does that mean the domain is accepted ? if not why do articles from other sites show when you use the site: parameter ?

Thanks ^^

When i do that for my website, I get all the results from my website alone.

i get that which is suppose to be the normal but i noticed few domains so far show articles from other sites the news section under the site:domain.com search sometimes the domain would be mentioned at the top of the article as if that article will take you to the domain but it won't and it is not a redirect either since those domains are parked or expired

for the sake of testing i bought one and made a random post on wordpress while making sure robots.txt wasn't blocking anything and so far it has been an hour and my post hasn't shown up on google news which is odd perphas some sort of glitch ?

No, you can't be 100% sure. Your site may have been excluded from the Google News, but old articles may still remain in the search by site:domain.com.

Register a domain (if the domain is not yours) and set up the website in the same way as it was set up when it was accepted into the Google News. And watch whether it appears in the News tab or not. Also, most people who deal with such websites check without 'site:' as far as I know.

even for old edition ? i saw two old edition domains indexing without any posts one was parked at bodis so google news indexed that landing page and one was listed at sedo.com and the for sale landing page was indexed how could that happen ? also any idea why an article from other domains would be indexed when searching for that specific domain ? some sort of redirect ?
i never dealt with old edition google news so your help is very much appreciated i always heard that you don't need to recreate the site just create a simple wordpress site and it should start indexing
Thank you for taking the time broski :)

Hi, the articles appearing on the News tab when you use the site: domain.com query means nothing. You'll have to search on the News tab without the site: query. If it doesn't show up it isn't on Google News.

Now, the 10 bucks..
