Google News Approved Expired Domains

Hi there,

So basically I found few google news expired domains as I checked in ahrefs. The question is does google remove the expired domains from google news? If yes can I copy the old site and apply again and is it easy to get approval for that site which were approved before or google treat them as a new domain?

There is absolutely no harm in trying. I would suggest you do this. Try building it like the former and see if it's still in google news, if not, then submit it.

Did you have any luck figuring this out?
 
ahrefs can't check it's google news approval or not
 
If you can afford the website, make a try. Anyhow the website will be useful, if google approves the site again, it will be great.

What's wrong with you guys? This thread is from freaking 4 years ago. Google news doesn't require approval anymore.
