Hello,
I hope I am not violating forum rules by everyday threads..
I am here only for one goal: LEARN, LEARN, LEARN, for forgive me if I am violating :)
I am practically new to seo and I'd like to know how much actually is Google kw tool accurate. I have read many threads on various forums and mostly experienced IM's agree it is not 100% accurate.
So please share your experience, how much is kw tool accurate?

It is not exactly accurate , still depends on the demographics though. Try Traffic Travis or Market Samurai , compare them , get the average , thats how i do it though. Good luck.

It is google's tool so it should be lined right up with their monthly statistical data (unless they do a 1 day * 30 to equal it) but nonetheless it should be spot on.

Experienced IM's claim that google kw tool on purpose "leaves out" some results, because you have to learn to digg more to get valuable kws.
And I guess you have to pay.

The Google KW is not 100% accurate, nor is any other tool. Chinssy's method is a good way to try and increase your accuracy.

Another way is to run an adwords campaign on your KWs. This will give you a pretty accurate look at the search volume for your KWs.

The main thing is to get your site up and ranking. This is only way to track your progress and get results.

Both TT and MS get their data from Google so I don't know what you're checking for but what I did was make sure that the keywords were on an uptrend by looking at trends data to make sure they're not duds.

Okay guys, thanks..
In order not to open a new thread; how much time does it take for you to discover a kw you think it is worthy to write about?
Since, I'm reading a lot, therefore I also learn a lot, some of the best on this field claim they spend 10 days or more sometimes.

It depends entirely on the niche that your trying to find a keyword for. Some niches are over saturated and the chances of you finding a good keyword is remote. You need to get a good guide on how to do keyword research. There are plenty of guides in bhw.
For me if im looking in a less competitive niche i can usually find a keyword or 2 in a couple of nights work.
