Google Just Nuked My Site for AI Content

hey everyone,


sooo... looks like Google actually started cracking down on AI generated stuff. my main site literally disappeared from search results overnight. it was ranking for months with AI articles (yea I know, bad idea now ).
I used ChatGPT and a few rewriters to make them “human”, but seems like Google aint buying it anymore. I got zero traffic now. So now I’m trying to figure out which AI content detector I should use to check my posts before publishing. tried a few paid ones but either they’re super expensive or limit to like 1k words, which is useless when u got long posts.
anyone know a good, reliable one that’s free or cheap? something that actually detects like Google does, not random false flags.

There’s no AI detector that works like Google; Google evaluates content quality, EEAT, and user behavior—so rewrite content with real experience, and only use detectors as a reference (passing a tool ≠ passing Google).

That is almost certain for websites that use content entirely generated by AI. Google is not friendly toward automated AI-generated content, and this also serves as a warning to many people who are using this approach to build content.
 
I wouldn’t rely too much on AI detectors. Most of them don’t reflect how ranking systems actually work and can give you a false sense of safety. A safer move is to focus on rewriting with real experience, adding original insights, examples, and intent-driven structure rather than trying to pass a detector.
 
Why people use ai content detectors to check their article. You KNOW its written by ai, so why try and lie to yourself and google? lol

Spend less time making ai slop, and more time making real quality content. I have one website with 50+ images, and it gets almost 100 uniques per day.

You have to make sure your site is actually worth peoples time. Not just a basic content blog, that has ai. lol that shows your effort and care about your topics sucks, and isn't that of a real master. Get masterful at topics you know about and enjoy, and base your business around that vision.
 
You can't really spoof Google's detection algorithm. It's too advanced
 
One angle people often miss is instead of chasing AI detectors look at engagement signals on those pages, if users bounce fast, don’t scroll or don’t interact, Google doesn’t even need a detector - behavior gives it away.
 
Google isn’t really using AI detectors the way people think. Most sites that dropped didn’t get hit because content was AI, but because it lacked depth, originality, or real value. Rewriters usually don’t fix that.

Instead of chasing detectors, I’d focus on improving the pages that mattered most: add real insights, examples, clearer intent, and clean up thin or repetitive content. From what I’ve seen, sites that do that tend to get crawled and picked up again over time.
 
I’d stop relying on AI detectors, since Google doesn’t use them the same way users do. Focus on improving content depth, real value, and user engagement instead, that usually matters more than whether text looks AI or not.
 
you're not going to beat google ai detection, they accept it and embrace it but disqualify garbage created for garbage purposes

How many articles did you upload in one day?
 
Sorry for your loss. No AI detection tools are good enough. Only you need to write or rewrite it with human. Thats the solution here.
 
I've always wondered how this all works. How much do you have to edit/rewrite AI generated content before it is considered legit? With the way AI is now, you would think that it would not take much editing to make the content indistinguishable to detectors.
 
It seems they are taking strict measures with AI-generated content, as it is becoming increasingly difficult to circumvent detection.

That’s something you’ll definitely encounter. It’s not easy to fool Google with a website built using AI-generated content.
 
As some mentioned above... it has nothing to do with AI, your articles simply lack originality, useful insights, and depth.
