Found a 1,000/month keyword, it's not the best but it's decent.
keyword is "best __ __ for __ __ " A six-word longtail keyword. In the top-100, I think only 2 websites are targetting this exact keyword, because nobody else has this longtail in the title, meta title, URL slug, or in the content. Nobody is going after it.
My article was posted two weeks ago. I did all the right on-page practices and it is the most relevant content for that long-tail keyword, but I'm on page 5 after index. I know links are important, but shouldn't I get at least page 1 right away due to relevance alone? Does Google hate brand new content that much?
PS.
site is over a year old. Article is fresh.
