My phone interview went well. The guy I spoke with was fairly laid back. The company is really ITA which Google recently acquired. They make search systems for airlines to locate lowest fares. I think I have a shot at a 2nd interview, especially since they're looking to hire 2 people. Either way, I start a one year contract with another company on July 5th, so I won't be unemployed.

Luckily the days when I had to care for a 9-5er are long gone... But I wouldn't work for google if they offered me 10 % of the their entire assets. Same for microsoft and apple and any of the big dogs. I turned down several big offers in my life because I have a consistent and healthy disrespect for the environments of these big dogs... But hey, this is me and whatever floats your boat is cool bro. Good luck!
