Google is killing AdSense Mobile Apps on Android and iOS

According to AdSense blog post:

The AdSense Android and iOS apps will be deprecated in the coming months, and will be discontinued and removed from the app stores by the end of 2019.

As a result, we will be focusing our investment on the AdSense mobile web interface and sunsetting the current iOS and Android apps.

Adsense is dying anyway. Crap ads, Google keeps all the valuable clicks to themselves. You can multiply your income 10X by not using adsense.

Google AdSense itself is a crap program. No transparency and you really don't know when your account gets suspended without any warning or emails.

You can still check revenue details from the Desktop. Google is encouraging Publisher to focus on content quality rather looking every now and then to account balance on mobile app

they are talking about how ussers of adsense program check and interact between the Adsense APPLICATON and those how read thier statics in web view

they will remove the adsense app from stors and keep focus on web view

I finds the app to be inaccurate anyway. If they do make the website more mobile friendly its a good thing.

Focus on content quality all you want, adsense won't pay you a penny more.

This is a bold statement. I am not a fan of adsense and have been trying to replace them for years. I have managed to get my total income from 90% adsense to 50% adsense (affiliate/direct sale). It really depends on the niche. I have been in my niche since late 2006 and have been trying to reduce the total percentage of my income that comes from Google. I was always paranoid about a ban or some other catastrophe.

Point is, there is no replacement for it in my niche. Especially nothing that would produce 10X the income. I struggle to reach 50% of its income via several sources. All other networks like adsene (media.net, sulvo, ECT) ALL USE ADSENSE. Meaning they are using it and taking a cut. Maybe optimizing it or whatever.

I think by showing and forcing irrelevant ads on free apps advertisers may get very low results. That's why they may be removing their ads inorder to get targeted results.

Well, can you maybe go a little bit more in detail for me? How exactly do you get 10x more revenue if you dont use Adsense? What advertising company is giving better payouts?

There are plenty of ideas on the making money and journeys section of this forum. If you got decent traffic a affiliate manager will give you offers that may pay more than 10X adsense. And by just going direct and selling your own ads you can easily do 10x.

A moment of time thinking about why AdSense is no longer viable is a moment too long. If the program is junk and does not fit your needs than learn + adapt + move on = profit .
