Be careful, friend...from google's point of view, yes.
It makes its own rules, changes its mind with every update.
SEO as we know it, as far as I'm concerned, is dying and we're dying with it.
Sorry to hear that...@Zorgh13 @AliceInSEOLand Today I am seeing that our adsense earning are f*cked up since Nov 7. I remember clearly earning were alright until Saturday. But who can question? They will probably make an excuse saying it was a bug or something, and just steal the money.
They are nothing but a bunch of thieves. I saw what you guys wrote about youtube videos and yes it is pretty messed up.
The main problem is one entity controls everything. Unless it is break down to pieces nothing will improve. It is now evident that Google search including youtube video rankings to be separated from adwords.
same here. Some notification from search console for redirection etc bla bla but cross the fingersAnyone notice any 'changes'?
So far I'm seeing absolutely nothing. This core update feels non-existent.
10% up yesterday (vs same day last week) and 20% up today so far....Anyone notice any 'changes'?
So far I'm seeing absolutely nothing. This core update feels non-existent.
It's not exactly favouring big publishers either with even more push to AIO. Which big publisher wants google to grab their content and their competitors content mix it together and create a summary then put a tiny link to your site that most wont even notice.Be careful, friend...
Whenever you mention these 2 specific words in a sentence - "SEO", and "dead" or "dying" - all the SEO link sellers or "SEO consultants" will jump in to mock you.
Why? They still want people to still buy their link packages or consult their "SEO services" as it is their income.
Even if one day Google Search only ranks big publishers or the entire search results are just ads, these link sellers will still say SEO is all fine. lol
That's why I've always said google's trash and you should aim to rank good at other search engines such as bing.Google today launched its next big search ranking update. The November 2024 core update will take about two weeks to roll out.

Not that it matters a lot for most of us... Even if you rank first now, with the 4 ads at the top, AI Overviews, People Also Asked and such, it is pointless since traffic will be garbage.
I even had SEO friends who shared with me that despite ranking 1st, they sometimes can even get 0 traffic at certain periods of the day, which doesn't make sense. That's modern Google for ya...
Not to mention Google has not fixed the spam issue and their only approach to that is reward big authority sites to the top...
They're going for the kill!
November 2024 was more than a few weeks ago buddy!these updates always shake things up for a bit, so i usually wait a few weeks before deciding whether to tweak anything.
