Google Favoring Spam Over Quality

If you haven't noticed yet, Google is now very much favoring spam over quality.

Not sure what the software is called, however I believe it's used for creating hundreds of low quality Web 2.0 parasites. The posts on these are completely spam. Copying titles from YouTube, copying and pasting crap in general and outranking sites that are high quality with unique content.

I guess blackhat is the way to go now. It feels like it's 2013-14 again where people would just spam GSA and outrank everyone.

Quantity over quality is winning right now, unfortunately.

Just wait a while, everything will normalize (again) in a few days. Even after seeing so many updates, one would think people would reserve their judgements for later, but I guess nothing has changed. :rolleyes:
 
Yes, you are right. I am noticing this a lot specially for long keywords from last few month. It is a good sign in fact and we should try to take advantage till it lasts. It is going to get fixed anyway soon
 
Google significantly improved the weightage of domain authority over other things. This has pulled all the web 2.0s, Google properties, Parasites etc to the forefront. In fact, you can copy paste content from low authority site on page 10 into a parasite and easily rank within page 5.

Google is just getting rid of newbie marketers and bloggers to encourage businesses that can spend money on ads. In simple words, if you can't afford ads, you don't deserve a website.

When has this not been the case literally anywhere on the interwebs.
 
I ran some automated parasites alongside an old splogging journal to see how they compare. Since May, a bunch of those parasites have started bringing in more traffic.

Same with Pinterest. Google is smearing it all over longtails and a lot of old pins are bringing in traffic.
 
After May update I've seen very strange movements that as you mention may prioritize weird content like spammy sites. Not sure yet what is the target of this update.
 
Yup! These kinds of intolerable Algo updates killing many sites. The recent updates caused this to many. We hope it will be rectified soon
 
Google will be in throuble this way, doing black hat is much easier for us than white. Spamming the hell out of internet will be fun to test these days.
 
As a matter of fact, they're spamming their Ads wherever possible. So, kind of a win-win situation.
