hello everyone,
This is my first post on BHW. Yes, there appears to be a serious problem with my website. As shown in the picture, the exposure and ranking of my website have suddenly dropped a lot in recent days.
I checked the indexing and accessibility of the website, and found no problems, and no spam links. I don't get any errors from Google.
How can I find out the reason? Almost every one of my pages saw a drop in exposure.
Thank you so much for your generous advice

just google doing their (now common) 5 million updates per week to get rid of everyone who doesn't buy ads from them. Nothing unusual (sarcasm)...

On a serious note, it looks like a google update in the rolling, which means that if you don't automatically recover in the next 2 months or so you'll never recover if you don't fix what google broke for your site.

Whether or not you can, or want to wait for 2 months to see whether google brings you back from the dead it's up to you (some people do wait), but until the update is fully rolled out (which can take 2-3 weeks) I think you shouldn't try anything and just take the loss

A lot of sites are experiencing drastic changes, even if there is no confirmed update:

Looks like i am site is one of those

ohh, my site has never been advertised. But the funny thing is, Google doesn't allow my product to be advertised.
What should I say.

so you're in a black hat / illegal niche... Chances are you'll never rank again. I'm not saying that you won't rank again with 100% certainty, but it's possible. Just wait till the update gets confirmed and finishes and then you'll know what to do.

Or, if someone has a better suggestion...

There's rumors of some update but there isn't any official announcement.

It's possible that there's an update that recently went live. Of all my sites only 1 new site experienced something similar but I attribute that change/drop to something else and can't yet conclude whether it is the update or the other change.

Give it sometime, also your individual pages, their positions on the SERP, how they're performing.

How to say. It's a gray area, my website sells Sexy women's lingerie(B2B, not retail). There are some words that can be advertised, but I don't think they are precise enough, so I haven't taken any action.
But I've never used black hat.

Everything is lowering, rankings and exposure and whatnot.
But the website is still being included normally (the indexed pages have been increasing)

ugh, I'm not very good with adult niches, never delved in these before. I'm leaving it to someone else to help you...

Please use the multi-quote function if possible, as it makes the threads flow much easier. How to multi-quote can be found here Newbie Guide

Are your articles manually written or AI generated?
Your GSC graph resembles a typical AI site on a new domain one.

There are applications to chatgpt4.0. But don't rely entirely on AI. I've only posted 3 blogs so far. One is completely done by myself. The other two have made changes to the content generated by AI.
But website product copywriting relies entirely on AI.
Does it matter?

What do you mean by product copywriting? Is your site ecommerce related? In that case you should try to add a good deal of human touch to the AI product descriptions I think.
Only 3 article is nothing at all to deduce site traffic
And to what extent are your AI articles manually edited? Try passing them through AI checkers like contentatscale.ai
From my experience there are certain watermarks in AI content which, if not removed makes Google deindex them after some time.

My website is an e-commerce website.
My product title, short description and product selling points are all generated by AI based on prompts. (does not necessarily pass ai detection)
But I also added my own written product parameters, size charts and FAQs to the product text.
For the article, I used the website detection: https://gptzero.me/ Most of the content passed the AI detection.
In addition, other copywriting on my website, such as company introduction, and some call to action are all generated by AI according to the actual situation of the company. They all passed the AI test of the previous website.

In the investigation just now, I also heard that GPT will add watermarks to the content they generate. Is there a way to delete this?

Some sites get stuck in a plateau after such correction
That's when you should be more concerned

Yep, now my traffic is back where it started and it's still dropping, I don't know what to do?
This is a big blow to me as this is a long-term project that I've been working on for almost half a year.:weep:

Are these stats of a particular URL on the site or the whole site? If it's the latter, then your site is too young to make any meaningful insights at the moment. Google loves to throw new sites/posts around till they finally settle in their position (aka Google Dance). So I wouldn't change a thing and keep publishing new content.
