Google Disabled my account

I completed taking care of all my Gmail emails. Cleaned everything up, saved what needed to be saved, changed forwarding to my new self-hosted email.

I changed the email on all important sites (paypal, payza, some bitcoin/blockchain site I have an account with, hostgator, namechap). Put my new self-hosted email as main email.

Since I was updating shit, I also tried changing my address on my Namechap account (because the one I had on record was outdated), but I ran into a bit of a problem - https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/namechap-doesnt-have-my-country-in-address-options.1027584/

That said...

The Google account that got disabled, when I got back in I checked my Youtube and Google+ and Blogger etc, all Google services I use which are connected to that account. I noticed that I had 1 Youtube Channel and 1 Google+ page.. well.. not exactly banned, but there was something wrong with them. Look below...

Google+

Youtube

I tried using Youtube as that channel, and I was taken to a page to verify my identity. Since I had just verified my identity to get my Google account back, I didn't want to play with it. But now since I switched from Gmail to my own self-hosted email and took care of everything so that I don't rely on Gmail anymore, I figured what the heck. Even if they ban me now I don't care very much. My emails are not dependent on Gmail anymore, I'm safe, I'm good.

So I tried using Youtube as that channel, and it asked me to verify my identity again. I did it, and I was back in. I can use Youtube as that channel now. I also checked the Google+ page, and the page is there, I can also use Google+ as that page again. But those gray icons remain there, and, I'm not sure what it is. All my other channels and pages were fine the moment I got my Google account restored. But this one Youtube channel and Google+ page were not okay. The google+ page was originally leading to an error page, I think 404 page, and I couldn't use Youtube as that channel and couldn't use Google+ as that page.

Hm. I'll give them a day or two and see if the gray photos there get restored back to normal, or if maybe it's some delayed ban, to where they're just about to completely ban that channel and that page.

I'll wait on that. We'll see what happens. The Youtube channel is active, I have one video on it which just shows people how to buy on my website. And that video can be watched, which I need because I have it embedded on a page on my website. Also the Google+ page can be accessed, content can be seen. I also need this as I have a social icon for Google+ on my website which people can click to see my Google+ page. It would reflect bad on me if a potential customer clicked to see my Google+ page and got taken to a dead page. I think it would also harm my SEO (not that I do any) because as far as I know having links on your website that lead to dead pages is a negative thing for your SEO/rankings. I could be wrong on that, don't quote me on it. But it makes sense, I'm pretty sure I'm right.

Anywaaaay...

I just have one more disabled Google account to deal with. Even though I access it behind a proxy, it's some bullshit free proxy, and I don't know if it leaks my real IP or what the hell happens. So I'll exit my Gmail/Youtube/Google+ pages, restart my router to get a new IP (dynamic IP), then access that Google account (behind the free proxy) to see if I can appeal or if I have to maybe verify identity of what the hell is going on. And when I'm done I'll restart my router again to get a new IP in order to access my main Google stuff again. That way they won't establish a link between the two Google accounts in case my IP leaks on that proxy I'm using. Though... if they check history they'll be able to link them possibly.

Okay. They wanted me to verify my identity on that disabled Google account. They wanted a phone number to send an sms to or call. I have 4 sim cards and some Google Voice numbers. But all my sim cards are already being used to verify Google accounts, and I can't use Google Voice to verify Google lol (or maybe I can. Anyway, I don't wanna play with fire).

But then I remembered. A few weeks ago I changed my ISP (Internet Service Provider), and they gave me a free prepaid SIM card. Hooraay. I hadn't even used it yet. So I opened it, put it in a phone, activated it, added it on Google, received the SMS, verified, and I got my account back :)

We're sweet. We are sweet...

Anyway. I cleaned up that Gmail too, and changed the forwarding. I'll let that Google account rest for a while. I won't use it at all, nothing gmail, nothing youtube, nothing google+, let it sleep for a week or two.

Good thing I got it back. I have a Google Voice number attached to that Google account. And I've used that Google voice account to verify a bunch of things (Twitter, Instagram, lala). I mean, sure, I can use my new SIM card, or go and buy a new SIM card for like $5 bucks. But again I'd have to login and out of accounts, verify, spend time on that. I'd also have to go change the email on all the sites I registered with that Gmail account with. Another time consuming task.

Anyway. Now I'm done. Fully done :)

Thank you Google for being a team player. Sorry about the nasty things I said about you earlier, I was pissed off. Well, sorry not sorry :)

Don't be trying to shut me down Google!!!

THREAD CLOSED!!!

or is it... ;)

One last little update, just to conclude.

That Youtube channel and Google+ page which were grayed out. The ones I showed in the screenshots in my previous post (2 posts up). They're okay now too. Photos looking good, I can use Youtube as that channel and Google+ as that page, and the Youtube channel and Google+ page are perfectly visible and can be accessed, with all of their videos/posts.

This officially ends this little thread. I've gotten everything back, and I got my email situation switched from Gmail to a self-hosted professional email. Sweet. Feels good!

Google, you son of a bitch! :D

Guys, I feel like I've just been hit on the head with a shovel.

Google Disabled my Fucking Account!!! :weep:

That's my MAIN Google account. I have a few Youtube channels associated with it, most have good subs and videos. I have a number of Google+ pages associated with it, most have good followers. I have about 30 other emails I use for business, they ALL forward ALL mail to that main Gmail account. I had Adsense with it which I wasn't using, but had about $8 bucks in there from back when I had my Youtube channel monetized with it. OH Blogger, fucking BLOGGER, I have a few blogs I've been posting on. I have customers that have that email and contact me for business sometimes. I have registered on over 100 websites using that Gmail account. I have the email on my Fiverr account, for withdrawals. I have, I have god knows what else tied to it.

It's ALL GONE :weep:

I submitted an appeal. They say:

"Thank you for contacting us about your disabled Google Account. The Google Accounts team will review your request and be in touch with an update as soon as possible. Most requests take 2 business days to review, but some might take longer.

Thanks for your patience.

The Google Accounts Team"

And to top it off, they offered an option for me to export my data. And I tried, twice, and both times I got this:

"Creating your Google data archive failed"

They send the email to my Recovery email.

I've just been hit on the head with a shovel. I feel horrible. I lost SO MUCH! I need some comfort.

Hey dude I just fell in the same problem as yours so want to know that whether or not google re-enabled your account if yes how

Yes they reenabled it. If youre too lazy to read the thread dont ask me anything. Besides, i dont remember all the details, but im sure i posted everything here.

Sad buddy! :(

It's not that sad actually. Thanks to this little issue I ended up getting a self-hosted email, so that it never happens again. I'm much more secure now because I can never lose my email address just like that. Of course, I still prefer to use Gmail, so I just forward all email from my self-hosted email to my Gmail. And if I ever lose the Gmail for whatever reason, all my mail is safe and secure arriving in my self-hosted email account :)
