I want to keep this up to you!! Cannot recommend a certain OP because there are alot of wonderful services out there ill suggest you spending 10 minutes looking for what suites you most! Consider the prices!! The feedbacks!! Ask for a samples, try to communicate! 99% of the sellers are awesone people each one is unique with his work

but if google counts the shortener as a backlink to moneysite, it seems that google may as well consider the gsa spam pointing to money site.

The purpose of a 301 is to not count as anything and that is how Google treats them, if you point a 301 at a url the 301 becomes the url it is not like adding a separate buffer. So if you are pointing spam links at 301s that point to your tier ones then you are pointing spam links at your tier ones. which is not not nearly enough of a buffer.

Since your Web 2.0 sites were not index prior to building the 301s that is probably why they are showing up rather than the 2.0s. I had not thought of that earlier but it makes sense. Eventually you should see the 301 urls get replaced by the Web 2.0 urls but knowing how long it sometimes takes for Google change urls when 301s are used in normal use it could be a bit.
