Google Deindexed My Authority Site?

Sorry to hear, if google deindex my sites, I would be devastated. Anyway, if your site is authority with quality content, in don't ever think that google would penalise your site, let alone deindex it... I never have thought of it. There must be something wrong.

Wait a month or so. I've seen a site dropped from Google's index, then it got indexed again. At first I thought it was deindexed (though there was no SEO done on it), but after a couple weeks it was indexed again.

If the above case doens't apply then you should try a reconsideration request.

Just checked Webmaster Tools' manual action section and saw this:

Pure spam

Pages on this site appear to use aggressive spam techniques such as automatically generated gibberish, cloaking, scraping content from other websites, and/or repeated or egregious violations of Google's Webmaster Guidelines.

WTF? My content are 100% written by my English writer. What do they mean it is scraped?!

Damn, maybe this is just one of them freak algo errors where google for some strange reason thinks ur content is scraped.

Or maybe someone took ur content from your site and now google is slapping you.

@asap1,

Not at all. No one has stolen my content at all. I copied and paste some of my article's texts into Google and there's no duplicates or whatsoever.

I've sent in a reconsideration request. I really do hope they unban me... I can't focus on my studies when my income is gone. Dammit.

have you tried to run some of your pages through copyscape or some other plagiarism software? Maybe your so called professional English writer wasn't as professional as he was supposed to be.

Content scrapers are websites that steal your content for their own blogs without your permission

Even if it was an English writer you should be aware of it
before submit your articles you should always do some simple research of your content to find out if there are duplicates of it on the Internet

Good Luck

Thansk guys. I trust my writer.

I've followed your advice to do a copyscape check and all is clear. No duplicates or whatsoever again.

This is really confusing. I read the googleproducts group and they state that manual action is done by a google employee - the staff would review your website before flagging it as spam. Now that's what I don't understand! My content is 100% original and written by my writer - 100% copyscape passed.

I don't think it has to do with my old backlinking campaign (6-8 months ago).

Or is Google just being hard on affiliate site? Most of the article tips do recommend some of the product but it links to my product review page instead of directly to the merchant's page.

Whatever it is, I'm seriously confused. I've submitted a reconsideration request. Anyone knows how long it will take?

This is why I asked you about your content!

I'll say this, remember this website?:

Code:
http://www.askthebuilder.com/

The owner was doing 6 figures + via Adsense, but got his entire website WIPED OUT by g00gle.

Of course, he BELIEVED he did nothing wrong and that he was being targeted by g00gle unfairly.

Puzzled, I reversed engineered his website, both on page and off page SEO. As is it turned out, his content was PURE keyword based. It was the complete antithesis of G00gle's latest LSI algorithims.

Unfortunately, most content providers have not yet caught up with the latest changes related to LSI Latent Semantic Indexing themed content writing. SEO has evolved! If your content DOES NOT start and end with LSI, you are rolling loaded dice.

Without examining it, I'd bet a hundred grand that your content is not up to LSI par!

Sorry to hear that.. i hope your site can be back in good condition..
by the way, what is the problem having website with review article ??

Hey guys,

This is really wtf... I've been furthering my studies and temporarily put IM aside (that's why I've hardly come online here). My authority site has been getting me some stable income to fund my studies.

Yes, there are review articles but it is also pumping relevant articles (600-1000 words) helping readers. Useful articles on tips, info, and so forth so that's value.

.

It took one of my money sites 1 year to recover from an deindexing, I never gave up on it!! If you don't have the time to wait for it while you do other projects then switch the domain and reuse the content as already suggested here.

OP, send me "1" of your articles, I'll analyze for you, to let you know the deficiencies.

Same thing happened to me. Had a site with around 150+ articles [600-1000+ words per article] and the reason was pure spam. I just grabbed all the content and added it on a new domain...

Bullshit. Literally this entire post is GRADE A BULLSHIT.

See attached SpyFu report. The guy DID NOT GET HIT IN 2010 FROM PANDA! He got hit from Penguin in 2013.

askthebuilder.jpg

That means he was building garbage links direct to his money site.

Also, the site ranks better than ever now after the penalty, but you can see the largest penalty was from Penguin (spam links and link scheme update) and not Panda (content farm update).

Anyways, I recommend this to check your site for duplicate content:

http://siteliner.com

Duplicate content is literally the number one reason for a content spam penalty. Check that first.

And maybe have a VA run through your content with copyscape. Maybe someone has stolen your content and posted it all over your site and now Google thinks you're the duplicate?

Either way, this is not as simple as using some goddamn LSI keywords. Please ignore the people who are saying this. You will likely need to evaluate every possible option.

peepin2me, you stated...

Didn't quite understand this part. What exactly was wrong with his content? Also, I just checked the website you mentioned and it seems to be ranking fine.

He revamped all of his content since the fallout. In terms of his rankings, I haven't checked them since I last reversed engineered his website.

That stated, previously, his site was set up like most SEO'ers still set their sites up; he had his targeted keywords in the title, meta, description and tags, and his keyword density was anywhere from 1.5% to 3.2%+ in some instances. That form of SEO is methodically being purged by g00gle.

Boy, oh boy...

Bullshit. Literally this entire post is GRADE A BULLSHIT.

What? Did I mention either Panda or Penguin? Re-read my words. Did I mention any dates or times. I stated that his website was hit by g00gle. Was I correct or no? You are the argumentative narcissistic twerp who decided to infer what you erroneously asserted that I was stating.

You seem so bent on arguing that you missed what I stated. I reversed engineered his website AFTER he started complaining that his site was unfairly targeted by g00gle. It was g00gle who advised him that his content was WEB SPAM! He did not receive any warnings concerning his link architecture; his warning [from g00gle] was Panda related. Hence, the reason he revamped all of his content and not his backlinks.

Got that?

Moreover, he did get hit by Panda; that is no secret, it's all over the Internet, do your homework the next time!

Code:
http://theaveragegenius.net/google-reward-quality-original-content-interview-askthebuilder-tim-carter/

Read the comment by ScottLindsay about Askthebuilder on Moz; again, Tim's penalty was due to Panda.

Code:
http://moz.com/blog/how-googles-panda-update-changed-seo-best-practices-forever-whiteboard-friday

Tim went on this g00gle forum to discuss his dilemma; you obviously did not participate in those conversations? Meh?

Code:
https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!overview

He was interviewed by numerous SEOers concerning how Panda affected his website.

Lastly, Tim conceded that Panda wiped out his Cash Cow:

Again, do your homework before you start disrespectfully mouthing off!

P.S. I reversed engineered his site prior to Tim receiving the web spam notice.

He revamped his on page content because IT WAS CATEGORICALLY and undeniably WEB SPAM. Got that?

Also, the site ranks better than ever now after the penalty, but you can see the largest penalty was from Penguin (spam links and link scheme update) and not Panda (content farm update).

Oh, really?

This PIC comes directly from Tim; not from SpyFu!

Again, perform your DUE DILIGENCE before you proceed to mouthing off!!!

OP, that offer still stands!

So the site's story conflicts with the data I'm looking at. Great.

Panda is still predominantly a duplicate content penalty. Looking at it from an LSI perspective may or may not do jack shit.

Still think the OP is better off just evaluating the site with siteliner or another dup content checker as that is literally the number one cause of Panda penalties, so if it is a Panda penalty, that's the first place to go.

Then maybe he could, er, do some stuff with LSI. Again, that's vague and even troubling for Google to algorithmically identify with any semblance of consistency.

"Pure Spam" has nothing to do with Panda penalty. It means a person, not an algorithm went through the site. When a manual review goes on your site you are pretty much done. You are in the hands of a single person that decides if your site deserves staying in their index or not. It takes less than 15 minutes for people like us to determine if there was any seo done to a website, to what extent and so on. You think it will be harder if you have the Google crawlers and their data behind you?

Google's guidelines are pretty simple. One link is all it takes to go on the "dark side". You base your content around keywords and you are on the "dark side". Your authority site is full of rewritten product reviews, made up charts and "buy now" CTA's - you are on the "dark side". The Google's reviewer did not get laid for a whole month - you are on the "dark side". There is no such thing as masked PBNs, masked content that looks natural and so on. All of this works for the crawlers and for the algo updates, when there is a person behind a screen that is going through all the ins and outs of your website, everything is crystal clear. They do not measure authority with the amount of words or the amount of articles that you have. They think they are the internet police. Simple. Pure spam means this website is done. Take it offline and put all the content on a new domain, in few months you will start regaining your positions and just pray that the Google guy that did not get laid won't end up on your website (again!) in an year or so :)
