Google De-Indexed EVERYTHING I Have - is this possible?

Do you have privacy policy etc on all the de-indexed sites? Are your sites FTC compliant?

If no, check your still indexed sites. If they have good privacy policies, etc or if they are all non-cpa, non-affiliate sites - there is your anser.

Where would I find the robots file for wordpress blogs? Most of my sites are wordpress blogs, and I'm not seeing any robots.txt files for any of them.
Code:
http://www.domain.com/robots.txt

sometimes it's a virtual file

Code:
http://www.robotstxt.org/
will help you read it

About looking at my code, I honestly wouldn't even know what to look for. I do'nt really know much about html or coding or anything - it would all look "weird" to me so I couldn't pinpoint anything out. I just check the htaccess file of one of my sites that got de-indexed vs one that isn't de-indexed (yet), and they are identical.
just open it, both in the viewer I suggested and in the main field (the rexswain viewer is the more important one)

90% of it is gibberish. That's fine. What you're looking for is something obvious.

Ignore the gibberish, what you're looking for is pretty obvious.

it'll (likely) be in english, saying something obvious like "Discount Viagra" or "Costa Rica Time Shares" with a link next to it.

anything that starts with "http" is a link to somewhere else.

If you see a link you don't recognize, follow it. If it's taking you somewhere nasty, there's your answer.

holy crap! this is my biggest nightmare. I have a lot of MFA sites... and I also had 50 MFA sites which were deindexed in 1 day... what you can do is to go to google webmaster tools and here you can see if your site is "against the terms of google" you can then try to resubmit your site.. I tried it, google checked and "decided not to" index my sites again.

and what I have learned is:
- spread the sites on as many C-subclas nets as possible
- dont add adsense right away.. wait 1 month or so.
- dont trust google and adsense.. try to find other traffic sources and money making methods. even if adsense is easy money.

Where would be the best place to start getting these c-subclass nets? I have a subscription at SEO Hosting and have 5 diff class's. I also have about 4 other adsense accounts in other business names that I was slowly building up, so I guess I should use those.

Do I need to use different registrar accounts? Should I put privacy on all of them?

I did add a few of my affected sites to the webmaster tools, and they did have that error at the top that says it "doesn't comply with webmaster guidelines", but I have no idea what part or why.

It's one thing to nix 95% of my adsense sites, but they did the same thing to the majority of my high quality cpa/clickbank sites too. That was probably 75% of my income. All of them abide by the FTC and have privacy policies etc.

And like I said - the WEIRDEST thing about this is I probably have a couple dozen adsense/clickbank/cpa blogs up that weren't affected. And there is NOTHING different about those sites than the ones that were affected.

No rhyme or reason to it. And why on earth wouldn't they disable my adsense account if they didn't like my sites???

Oh dude that sucks, yepp your problem was keeping all your money makers on the same hosting account. Why didn't you get atleast a vps so you could buy new ips now and then? (Would at least spread the risk a little.)
Do you have the same whois info on the domains?

I dunno, I guess I didn't think I was doing anything risky or shady. Like I said the worst thing I did to my sites was profile backlinks every now and then. Was a pretty white hat network. My adsense sites weren't thin either, IMO. All of them had high quality content with 500-700word pages each.

I can build everything back up, and make sure I diversify. I just wish I knew what I did wrong to offend the Google gods so it doesn't happen again. I don't want ANY site I build to be de-indexed like this regardless how much I diversify.

Man, If you make tens of thousands every month then you must be knowing what you are doing and don't need to make such thread and looking such a noob.

I was thinking the same thing reading this thread, guy claims he's making 10's of thousands a month but needs hand held to find robots.txt file? BS detector is sounding off lol

Haha, I have no reason to lie. I'm not selling anything - just telling my story. If you want to believe I'm making 50 cents a month, go for it. I'm just telling you what happened to me.

Some people will argue about anything, I swear -_-

You may have been banned from google.

I have another idea though that would explain everything. You said you may have been hacked. Check your robots.txt file (its in the root of your domain).

If a hacked changed all of your sites to noindex in that file, then they would disappear from google. However, if you change it back, then they should reappear with the same rankings.

Let me know how it works.

From what I read on robotstxt.org , my robots.txt files are all fine. They all look the same, and there's nothing fishy or weird about them.

I compared them to sites that are working, and to sites that are on a different adsense/hosting account that wasn't affected and they looked the same.

If I got hacked, wouldn't my sites slowly drop 1 by 1 day by day out of the google index as they crawled each site. It seems the only way ALL of my sites got de-indexed ALL at the exact same time, could only be done by an act by Google.

I don't know much about hacking or anything, but that's just what's logical in my head =)

You were either hacked and Google dropped your sites because they're serving up something nasty or you were deindexed for being a link-farm.

It's one or the other..

You say your sites are all on the same IP address, that's a big no-no, but it shouldn't kill your sites unless they were linking together which I'm guessing they are in someway or another. Either by ads you're showing or direct links.

Sometimes people get lucky and stumble on something good.

have you slept with wife of any high level employee at google?
if no,,its very strange wat happened to you.but all you can do is contact their support and ask why they deindexed you and reapply to get re indexed.
its rather strange that a person who owns 175 blogs is not even moderately educated about robot.txt file.i hope you get reindexed soon and make same $$$ soon.

Nah, none of my sites linked together in any way shape or form. They were all separate entities of one another. All separate niches, some showing adsense, some had an affiliate link to a Clickbank or CPA offer.

I may have used similar methods of promotion and backlinking on the majority of them, but they were not interlinked. Like I said the worst thing I did (in my eyes) was profile backlinking.

Yes they were all on the same ip - which I see if my downfall. I really wish I had diversified more with hosting/registrar accounts so this wouldn't be such a big blow.

Just noticed something.

I said earlier that there are some sites of mine that didn't get booted.

Well I was looking for a pattern, and came across one.

Any site that had analytics and/or adsense code on it got booted. I have about 2 dozen sites still unaffected and they are all sites that I haven't installed analytics or adsense on yet.

I guess that's how they determined a footprint.

What do you think was wrong with your websites? Were they all MFA?

Or some sites were deindexed even though they have no adsense? I mean, I don't see any problem in having lots of websites under the same analytics (if they don't have any adsense that may trigger the deindex button).

How many sites have you "lost" this way?

Maybe someone reported you to google. Matt cuttis is urging webmasters to report sites.

Okay, sounds like you were de-indexed. Nothing you can do that will change it, nothing. I had 1500 sites deindexed a couple of years ago and they are still dead, dead, dead. And I literally did nothing against their TOS.

The only thing you can do is move on, and be happy it wasn't 1500.

What have I done to try and make sure it doesn't happen again?

Servers on different hosts, ie, godaddy, hostgator, hostmonster etc.
Have multiple adsense accounts, seperated by hosts. They can find you by hosts anyway so it doesn't hurt. Also, use google shit as little as possible, especially ads. I run google ads on very few of my sites anymore. Much of the deindexing that goes on is because google thinks you are trying to scam their ads.

Good luck.
