I want to highlight data on my website so it appears differently in search.
When I did it first time for my event it was pretty clear, when someone was looking for our company's event's Google showed schedule right in the search.

Right now task is a little different - I have a guide I want people, who's looking for it - to be able to see short steps, right in search.
What's the right way to highlight 5 steps?
Should I choose the type of data as an article?
Should I choose each of the 5 steps as a title?

Please advice

I guess, adding those 5 steps as the description might work. And it will give you more space to add letters. Will look promising.

There's no such an option as description.
I can choose author or date even include image, but no such thing as description.

Then you can use it as Titles in my opinion. Can you add an expansion to the titles in there ?

You should look into microdata. I'm not sure if it has exactly what you're looking for but I know if it's possible it would be with that.
