Google Dance after Backlink

Exactly one month I added a PBN link to my moneysite. After one day the targeted main Keyword jumped out of the SERPS and one day after again into the SERPS. The happened the next 4 days but the main Keyword didn't come back. Besides the possebility that the PBN is spammy (tested the the domain on a different site with success...but who knows) could it be that it's like a Google dance which lasts longer? I did NOT use an exact match anchor! I used an URL Anchor.

Or do you guys say after one month the main keyword is not back in the serps the PBN was not good?

Additonal info: all other keywords made some positive movements.

You think a single PBN link caused the dance ?
 
You don't think so? Because it was exactly the day after I sent the link to the money site.
 
Here's a rule of thumb : if you can remember the name of the site, PBNs can't help it. PBN links are useful for large lists of ~worthless domains, when you try to accrete 1mn sites worth 50 cents each and suck as much of that total as possible.
 
And what good was all that PBN testing? :)

1 links is absolutely nothing to be even bothered around. Unless your site is a few months old and you have some backlink profile to talk about, then don't even bother looking at Serps.

Whether it is a single PBN link or thousands, best to always link to a buffer site ( e.g. web 2.0) which bears the keyword term linking to your main money site.

To illustrate : PBN ----->> Buffer site ( eg. Tumbler blog) ----- >> your main website

Waste of resources. Either build the PBN properly and point it to money site or do not build it at all.

I've been ranking my client sites NOT just once but as much as 5 first page Google positions for competitive keywords using this method. As far as you are concerned, you're right! It probably is a watste for you buy definitely NOT for me :)
