Google Chrome Anti Cloaking?

So I just read this article:

The new Google Chrome update will feature the following:
"The particular aim of these upcoming features is to protect against deceptive behaviors like auto-redirects and “trick-to-click experiences.”"

When this happens, users will now remain on their current page, while the browser displays an infobar about the block. On mobile, this warning slides up from the bottom and includes a “Details” link to learn more.

Google found that this type of malicious behavior is due to third-party iframes, with Chrome now blocking them unless a user has been directly interacting with that frame."

Right now I´m using a cloaked on a few sites which shows Google bot 1 type of content, while visitors is shown another version of content.

Do you think that this new Google Chrome update could screw over a lot of cloaking methods,
or should we be good aslong as we dont redirect to another URL?

Whats your though on this update ?

Do you think browsers will ever read content ? I've always wondered this. If they can read content and compare it to the content the bot is shown.

Good service for CLOAKING your campaign on Google.?

The browser cannot see both contents at same time to compare them.

I think it's only a matter of time until Google and FB implement it. All they need to do have the crawler use a residential/mobile IP along with time zone of the IP and they'll be able to read and take screenshots of your money page.

And then a script that compares content of this to the content of your safepage. And if it varies more than x% then your account would be flagged for manual review.

Pretty much. Surprised this isn't implemente yet.

no browser is connected direct to any website or app or theme .

Same here. Cloaking's been around for over a decade. I wonder what's taking them so long. Adwords has over a million advertisers - so I guess the technical challenge of evaluating every single advertiser's every single landing page without creating a logistical nightmare?

their new update meant to block 3rd party redirects happening in-page (using iframe tags, or JS scripts), but, the browser cannot block server-side redirects which is what cloaking all about. Client-side cloaking is not recommended at all, has never been recommended and can be easily detected

Why use Chrome? There are a lot of forks.

This won't work because it will create a lot of false positives for the adwords team if dynamic content is used to fit the user experience.

this just targets sneaky redirects not cloaking.
