Google certified click tracker for direct to merchant affiliate links

I see everyday. People who know it don't share it. Secondly most of them are account before september 2023. New accounts none will work
Old ones before 9/23 of course will keep working. The challenge here is to make new ones. It is possible. I’ve seen many. I’m just not there yet. Are you? I assume not also?

You can create new post with new ads since September 1923, using a Google certified lift tracker and then direct linking to affiliate merchant accounts? Tell me more.

What are you saying. Kindly speak clearly

Even post 9/23, it is possible to post new ads direct linking from Google to Google certified click tracker to second nested tracking url (in this case, affiliate network url). Most of the tracking you are all services only track and don’t actually carry onward or pass forward but a few of them do and then from among those they do a few of them actually have some other functions that make it even better. But most of them still don’t work well for my needs yet. The best ones seem to have in a lot of bad apples caused the entire domain to get suspended so then it works for a couple of days and then everything gets suspended and and goes down. So I’m trying to find something a little more reliable. I’m not trying to do anything black hat. I’m just trying to link directly from Google to the tracker to the affiliate network to the affiliate merchant offer page. If by chance I could squeeze in a cloaker somewhere in the middle by editing the campaign after the fact that’s a bonus, but not necessarily a necessity for me.

Again. I have tried all possible solution till date. People are able to modify it and running it. Even the ads are live right now

And what changed with accounts after September 2023. Are they not subject to Google ads rules regarding the tracking template? For old accounts before September 2023 can only use a certified tracker, or am I wrong?

Yes

Anything made pre 9/23 grandfathered in under the old rules. Anything after that needs Google certified click tracker.

If we're having this conversation. Could you suggest a tracker that could be used with such old accounts. A tracker with 302 redirect function is needed of course

I think we’re talking about two different things here. We’re not talking about accounts that are older than September 2023 but we’re talking about ads that have been approved before September 2023 and if you want to change the tracking url that means you’re making a new ad and then the old grandfathered in approval will be lost.

Hm. So, I have an old account from 2022 for example. It has an ad campaign on it that was also created in 2022 (now on pause). I.e. if I replace the tracking url now, google will reject due to not certified tracker?

Forget JavaScript for this. There aren't many certified trackers that do pure server-side redirects. Most rely on JS. But there are a few workarounds.

1- Have you checked with "network" directly? They might have a solution for server-side tracking within their platform.

2 - Some paid tracker services offer custom coding. They might be able to cook something up for you.

3 - Ditch the certified tracker requirement for now. Focus on a good tracker with clean server-side redirects, then consider running it alongside a free Google-approved click tracker for compliance.

I was able to install a link from one of the certified trackers in a regular google ads. The tracker itself had a 302 redirect function so I checked the tracking template link and even with force transparent=true the tracker was able to redirect me to the domain I specify in the tracker settings. But the tracker domain itself, despite the fact that it is certified by Google, was detected as a malware) So it turns out that even a certified domain is not a 100% solution.

yes, that’s also the problem. Several of the Google certified click trackers let in users who are doing cloaking and phishing and as such the domains are getting banned and unbanned all the time. It’s hard to choose a good and reliable option. For example I signed up for one and paid good money and posted ads for a dozen merchants on a dozen accounts and I was so happy it worked but only for 24 hours because the next morning woke up to see all 12 accounts suspended for malware also. It was the domain I used from the Google certified click tracker.

Some trackers allow you to customise your own tracking domains based on their infrastructure. I wonder how difficult it is to apply for your own tracker certification. I mean apply to google for domain certification. ( obvious things don't look complicated like make a site, fill in the form, etc.)

Yes, and that’s a double edge sword. If you’re looking to do some thing nefarious, I suppose it’s a good thing because then you can hide within the weeds, but if you were looking to do everything above board, then you get dragged down by the bad apples. That is because the domain will probably become blacklisted and they will lose their certification and reapply for re-certification and this is a never-ending process. That with you have your own unique sub domain or other unique identifier within their domain. Otherwise, you could apply for your own, but Google has stopped accepting new applications as of December last year and start accepting new ones until July of next year and then again there’s no guarantee that they will be approved. Yes, the application is pretty straightforward and very, very basic, however, we have no idea what criteria they used to decide to approve or not. So you may spend tens of thousands of dollars developing your own click tracker for the sole purpose of applying for approval only to find out that you’ve been rejected and may or may not have any means to appeal.

You're right, most certified trackers rely on Javascript for redirects. But that doesn't mean there aren't server-side options for your direct-to-merchant setup. It might be worth reaching out to "Network's" support directly. Some affiliate networks offer their own server-side tracking solutions or might be able to recommend partners who do. They'll have the most insight into what works within their system. Consider Self-Hosted Tracking, this might sound daunting, but there are open-source server-side tracking solutions you can explore. However, this option requires some technical know-how and resources to set up and maintain. While uncommon, some certified trackers might offer server-side redirect functionality. Do some research and reach out to their sales teams to see if they cater to your specific need.
