So, i have a business and i advertise all across the country on a few sites. On my websites, I advertise that i provide services in like 200 cities(i put a big list of cities on the page), same cities as my competitor who actually has locations in those cities. I only have one location though. I get rankings for "keyword roanoke virginia" for example and many other cities and I get pretty good response. Also, about 4 months ago, this competitor of mine, in one of the cities who has a location of the same type of service called me saying i need to change my website because it lists all their location cities(over 100). I get an anonymous submission on my website last week saying "google delist your spam site" or something like that. Anyway, G00gle calls me a couple of days ago, asking what the name of my business is and if im located in some city(Detroit....for example). I said I can help you with that if you live in Detroit. She tells me she has the wrong number, sounded confused and hung up. The caller id said Google and it was their listed number so I don't know that it's a fake. Well, i haven't noticed any SERP changes so far but i'm worried. Should I sh1t my pants or should i just relax and enjoy my weekend? If they delist all my sites i'm gonna be a little screwed.
