Most of my keywords still seem to be sliding downwards. The only thing I can see different against my competition is I have less domain authority. I have excellent links (niche edits and guest posts) nothing spammy.

Yeah its dumb. I'm going to build a spam site in the same niche and see what happens. I've invested too much time into this already.....

Lost 80%+ traffic and seems that I'm still losing traffic. I also played 'safe' only had some niche edits and guest posts. When Pinterest is ranking higher than a 7000 words article means that google likes spam. I also plan to spam the shit out of google in the next project, trying to provide value didn't work for me, and spend 1 year and $10,000 on my project.

My traffic is on a downward trajectory too. I would say Google has shaved off about 700 keywords that I was ranking for....and I'm still losing them by the day.
If Google likes spam its getting spam.

What did you do since the last update? Improve on page SEO? Off page SEO? More content? Improve search engine SEO? and how old is your site?Previous updated seriously affected my main money site. I'm happy to see that it's ranking on the first page after this update.
My site, which is about 1 year old also got hit and lost 80+% traffic. It had quality content with a clean backlink profile. Mainly natural a couple guest posts. Initially after the core update, authority sites were suddenly ranking higher - often with less query relevancy. Now, my keywords just keep dropping to oblivion.

Same here, everyday is more and more loss. Doesn't look like there is an end in sight.

It's not about links, so don't be surprised. I have a 1 year old site I've never built a single link to. It has only 3 links from spam aggregator sites that steal part of your content and link to you automatically. This same site was penalized in the last update. I lost 80%+ of my search console impressions.Same here
I lost 80% on a 1 year old site, another of my 2-year old site wasn't affected, while one of my new sites which is just 6 months old gained 200%.
It's so sad this is the new Google, I never bother about making any adjustments to my sites, and would never advice anyone to do so. It's a total waste of time. Building other businesses that doesn't depend on Google is a better option. Google just want more money, it's what it is.

Secondly, reading the comments... the update was about the links... the lack of them.

Nope I'm not going to bother making adjustments either. What I am doing is building a new site in the same niche but I'm going to spam the shit out of it. Pbns, diversity links, pyramid links, web 2, GSA
Maybe G like this better?
I dont think it's all about links. Lot of posters saying new sites without a lot of links got s big boost.
