Noticed! When I'm setting up some website dedicated to services (even remote), GMB seems like mandatory.Something else I have noticed.
All of my sites that have a GMB are ok.
The ones without a GMB have been hit.
Google My Business = GMB

That's actually really interesting. How many sites are we talking about here? Enough to get accurate data?
Thanks for the share.
Has anyone traffic or rankings bouncing back yet?
A no here.

Here's my 2 cents after doing some brief analysis
My rankings dropped off quite dramatically and some high performing keywords tumbled from page 1 to bottom or mid page 2. One of my competitors with non existent content on their site and literally no backlinks has improved in ranking in certain areas and the only thing making sense to me is load speed. As per gtmetrix my competitor is B overall where's as I'm F. I'll work on page speed from tomorrow. This competitor didn't had much traffic to begin with anyway (only around 3k/month) where as I'm at 30k so perhaps it could be that Google is just messing around with my for the time being. Another competitor who was doing 1.2M has gone down to 900k but they are a big brand and I'm sure they will crawl back.
Everyone could be making 10x more $$ if the WWW got rid of Google.
Preach brother!
Looks like a typo, it should be GWM (google webmaster)Please can you explain more what is GMB

What's the quality of your articles? Do you have anything copied? Or does anyone else copying your articles? And how old is your site?I got massively hit by this update. Pretty much all my articles are down in the SERPs and at least 3 of them that were ranking in the top 50 are completely out starting today. This is my first experience getting negatively affected by a Google Core algorithm update. Any advice on how I can recover from this as it is extremely demotivating for a beginner blogger like myself.![]()
I haven't done a whole lot of "research" but this update definitely targets duplicate/plagiarized/low-quality content. Nothing new.
I think newbies have no idea how the free WWW worked.
What we have now is shitty.
Google is dictating everything AND taking your money.
I mean, why in the everliving fuck does anyone want to have their content featured directly on google serps???
It's plain simply content scraping. It's Black Hat.
Google is scraping your work and showing it to their customers next to THEIR ads.
Yet you get some brilliant SEOs coming here to support this. Why does any webmaster at all support Google?
