Google And Cloudflare IPs

I think this questions has been asked before, i found one thread discussing it, but no clear answer or proof or anything.

Can google see past the cloudflare ip and nameserver? I mean say i have 10 sites on a single host, all on the same ip, same nameserver. I run them all through Cloudflare and i get 10 different ips and probably 2 different nameserver sets (4 nameservers in total). Can google actually see that all the 10 websites are actually hosted on the same source ip?

I also found this on Cloudflare's website:

While basic lookups of a domain on CloudFlare will terminate on CloudFlare's IPs and nameservers checking a domain, CloudFlare is not an IP protection service and there are ways of locating your server IP address whether you are using CloudFlare or not.

Sounds roughly vague, what i understand is that if someone (google) wants to find our your real IP, they can do it - but not easily. So i'm thinking yes, if someone reports your sites or you're under a manual review, google might (find out your real ip). But if you don't do something wrong to trigger a manual review, your initial footprints are covered.

What do you guys think?

I've used Cloudflare for many sites. It is very easy to determine where the site is actually hosted. For G it is a non-issue - they know.

If you have no other records set up with your registrar (like MX records for mail for example) then the only IP that can be found is CloudFlare's. I wouldn't base a large private network off of it, but if you are careful not to include mailservers or any other records than yes your IP will be masked even to google. Keep in mind they can see your registrar of course as well, which should not be a problem for what you are looking to do.

IPV4 is the Internet standard, but it is rapidly being overtaken by IPV6 and the beauty of V6 is they are plentiful and almost any provider will give you as many as you want for free. I have been using them and they work just as well, and everyone seems to be able to find my websites just fine. So, maybe IPV6 is the answer for you? You could genuinely give all your sites different IPs... that's a novel idea!

No records are set up with the registrar, just the 2 nameservers (which are pointing to cloudflare) - so this should work in theory...

Could you share with us a hosting service where you can get multiple IPv6 and also what's the price per IPv6 ?

If you were Google, you would have a 'profile' of what a normal backlink profile looks like (DNS & hosting providers etc.). It would probably match quite closely to the data shown on sites like BuiltWith:

What this shows you is that Google would expect around 23% of your backlinking sites to be hosted on GoDaddy. You have 10 sites so lets say you put 3 of them on GoDaddy. 2% are on Amazon, so lets say you sign up to the AWS free tier (one year free hosting on a t1.micro instance) for another one, or two of your sites. Now the remaining 5 need new providers, Cloudflare has 0.23% of the Hosting market ... so lets keep that for one of your sites. All we have now is to find some cheap VPS / shared website hosting for the remaining 4 sites.

Now you have 10 sites which kinda match the profile of the weird and wild Internet.
