Hi,

When I check website traffic statistics in my wordpress blog control panel, it shows more traffic like 1000 visits for May month, but at same time google analytics shows me 250 visits for May.

Why there is a difference? Which one is more accurate and reliable?

Please share your experiences and views.

I recommend only Google analytics because it has the best results compared to the others so i suggest only this.
It has few issue like low speed but it can give accurate results.

Well if you are going to rank in google, then google analytics. I guess cpanel shows some random bot accounts that check the site?

I think Google analytic traffic which will gives you the highlights of the most important information in your analytic account.
Cpanel traffic which helps to see the site statistics.Google will give you the accurate results after certain metrices.

Cpanel results are unfiltered. They catch all the bot and script on your server and report it as traffic.
Google Analytics use 50% as an estimate too.

If it is a wordpress you can go with Visitors Traffic Real Time Statistics WP Plugin, WP Statistics plugin.

Otherwise you can go with Google Analytics .

Cpanel traffic only makes you happy while showing the extreme results on traffic. It shows not an accurate result.
So for Google analytics, it provide the exact result on traffic of your site with little slow. So, in my thought this is good, more accurate and more reliable one than Cpanel traffic.
