Google algo update today

from my observations this update is around the content of our sites
 
Site went out of top 100 from 7th place now in 60+ nothing good.. Change keyword profile a little bit and trying to change anchors too..
 
The ciurrent movements seem Onpage Factors for me. Analyzed a lot in the past weeks.

Even the movements from today seem to be regarding inner linking / onpage factors.
A solid inner linking profile seems the reason to me, not backlink affected.

So what is about inner linking what cause rankings to drop?

Google likes a clean structure like

homepage -> links only to main categories/keywords -> link to more inner pages

For onlineshops a good example is:

gartenxxl.de

Won on Phantom update, won yesterday again


Looser of update: Schlafwelt.de

Why? -> They link to simply each category they have in their menu and also in the texts. too much. For a pge with not too much authority you have almost 500 inner links on homepage

Better would be if they link from the homepage just to "Betten" and then from their to the inner categoriys like Einzelbetten.

Google is confused - and has no idea which of the pages they should rank for Betten.

Looks like update is still rolling out. I have sites all over the Europe (different languages) and most of them is dancing like crazy. In a past two weeks keywords from nowhere jumped to top 10 and after few days dropped bellow top 100. Most jumps/drops i'm seeing in high competitive niches (such as a pay day loans, credit cards). Naturally these sites has way more links (all kind of links) than others sites, so it looks that our main suspect might be that bird that cannot fly.
 
what about a dead website now ranking first page of web-agency kw ? (i mean : only a landing page with a message saying the agency is dead) ; this google update is weird
 
One of my brand new websites is now at spot 8 from nowhere :D

I'd be an idiot to say I wasn't interested. 2 heads are better than 1.

I also can't say for sure that it did hit the US. It could have been a coincidence but a penguin test makes the most sense. IMO.

We can combine resources, setup trap websites with different backlink profiles for testing purposes. I have done something similar in the past for a project but it was very time consuming for me.
 
I'm confused ,because if i get penalty ,so i should get losing rank in my other keyword's !!!

i just got losing rank in my 2 main keyword's 4 days after link building .used 40 lsi keyword's that all include my main keywords ,and link building is running .now lsi keywords ranking very well but 2 main keywords dropped ranking .

i don't know this is dance or penalty .
 
My last website is dancing like crazy....lost all my top 3 positions in the morning then it came back, then dropped again...waiting now
 
The two sites I've have jump to page one from nowhere are for exact match searches, similar searches I'm tracking are still NTH.

Very strange indeed.....
 
I am in Europe - Finland by the way, it if helps for localisation
