Saw some positive movements today, but it could also have been attributed to some links I built recently. Haven't seen too much out of the ordinary fluctuations I was expecting... I am also having a case of what appear to be complete zombie days (I know a lot of people don't "believe", but it is noticeable and real when it happens). Basically, conversions seem to drop off a cliff, and non-zombie days have excellent traffic and high conversions (sales, leads, etc). This day only happens 1-2 times a week, and hopefully due to a glitch Google hasn't plugged. I have had a good start with some great converting traffic, so hopefully this sticks as a result of some update.

I've been looking at a European site today that was probably hit by Penguin. There are no big traffic changes.
However, WMT data is interesting. A lot of pages were recrawled three days ago - more URLs than the site has live pages. A lot of "errors" have turned up in WMT as well today - old URLs of pages that are now 410s. These old URLs are mainly linked to from article directories that were used 10+ years ago and which couldn't be deleted during a link clean-up operation late last year (in anticipation of Penguin updating before the end of 2015, which is why they lead to pages that are 410ed and also disavowed).
It looks like Google has recrawled article directories and the sites they link to.
Anyone else seeing this in WMT?

No major changes for my sites, some pages seem to have move upwards - but not much.

Big positive changes for all of my .co.uk sites - all clients sites are weirdly static....
My main affiliate site is in a horrendously difficult niche (finance) and is ranking like a mofo - I track 220 keywords and 90% of them have seen 40% movements. All of my sites are GH/BH with the finance site having Sape, PBNs, and some big WH links (which are blasted with all kinds of links), loads of spam through shorteners and pretty much everything and anything as it was originally a test site to see if I could enter the market, and it did with spam, so I kept on going with it. I have other similar sites at the ready in case it tanks but I think it's a nice algo change (at the moment, anyway).

I had one site tank off the map... Yet all my other sites stayed same or dropped only -7. I don't see the difference between this site and the others, makes no sense.
