Hi BHW!!

I have a niche website and have been focusing on Amazon products. I have articles that provide information along with review website. I was reading up on different ways to monetize my site and have thought about testing the following:

Placing Google AdSense on information articles and keeping the review articles dedicated to Amazon aff.

I just wanted to know your experience with these two methods.

What has given you more earnings per month?

From research I have come to an assumption that AdSense is more profitable as you earn per click where as Amazon aff pays per transaction.

What patterns did you see?

I may be wrong but I think Amazon is more likely to be seasonal or more fluctuating.

Most concerning issue for me is whether having both on a single site is against the TOS of either Google or Amazon aff. As far as I know they are both fine with this.

I know there is an argument that AdSense will distract your potential amazon customers or vice versa, but I am confident there will be some potential for this method.

I will post the results of my test and my exact method when ( or if ) I see some good data.

Best way to find out which one is better is to test them for example for a month
First place AdSense
Then remove AdSense and add amazon affiliate links
Adsens depends on AdSense unit place
Try to add them in visible part of your site near content

Lets wait and see my results. What is your opinion on my decision to try use both at the same time?
